Please remember the different mechanics in place. The "don't alert above 3NT" rule, intends to avoid to wake up partner, but here partner doesn't know you alerted, so that's NOT a problem.

Those are two different things. Often, BBO tournaments are sectioned. The sect'n column shows your final standing inside your section, as opposed to overall. The award column is yet to be used. If I'm not mistaken, is intended to be a masterpoints or equivalent.

I didn't mention scoring because it is just irrelevant. About automating consequences, agree. About main club, too. Table jumpers have to deal with consequences. Current mechanisms to deal with that were OK in old times, but didn't scale IMO. Think BBO will switch to a more flexible mechanism sooner or later, but I have no idea when.

We usually can tell if a disconnection is done by the user, or not.
