i wanted to register for the new bingo thing, one has to try everything and i was forced to go trough the webversion. When i returned to my loved windows version and the tourney started i got a message that one of my teammembers was not ready at gametime. Not ready meaning not on the forced client. I hope it helps getting people to turnover to the web version altho i regret the ways that re used to "help" people, it feels pushy(personal feeling). More effort on the web client, there are enuff "things to do" one can find in this topic.

when i directed i implemented a rule where a psych bid needed to be reported to td: why? i simply wanted to be aware of such bids in order to prevent having a partnership establishing an understanding of a patrone and having an advantage vs their opss. i remember a pair that "psyched" a 2♦after a 2♣opening all the time to mess opps up.Besides that i didnt have much problems with the psychbidders. But and here comes my point: even this rule, clearly allowing psych bids caused almost every time(midiocre and lower level players are opps) when a sych occured and opps realised it they start demanding a adjust. Why? because they saw something about psyche while reading tournament rules(option A) or/and because (my conclusion) they are used that psyche bids are often subject for adjust and more in favour of the "victims" I once won the lottery on bbo and had a chance to play with Fred in an ACBL TR. at one point FRed opened 1nt with a singleton. Opps called TD after they realised , FRed response was " excuse me , i sinned and opened 1nt with a singleton" . Now Tds let it slip. But clearly, the mere fact that opps called td to start their quest for a better deal then the fair result goes totally against the rules of this game. There are many reasons to think of why psych bids are disallowed in TR and frankly a few good ones were named prior but none of them are coming close to a fair game. Its same as when south korea asks soccer to be played with players with a maximum height because they mainly have smaller players. What rule is next? We see already in for example ACBL multi beeing disallowed because the majority doesnt like to defend against multi(too difficult) , we`ll come down to a game where stayman and gerber are allowed when enuff people will pay for it? not the best path to take imo

is it possible to have a full disclosure cc avaible for both partners where one is on web and the other on windows version?

is it possible to implement more options such as " do not sit on a table with enemies" or sit on a table with intermidiate as minimum level or sit only when a new hand is dealt? Also is it possible to disallow users to participate/sit on a new table while an old game is still beeing played? then you might see a deduction of players running at first chance of a bad score and more people ending what they started since the "advantage" of beeing able to skip bad boards as i`m sure they will call it instead of annoying the hell out of people that have to wait endlessly for a new player that will play those last two cards of a game that will score good for you? Numerous times i been in situation where we came to a gamecontract beeing doubled and when opps realised they will lose they went, after ten new people sat, see whats going on and leave again partner and me give up and close table and go sit somewhere else(often finding us in similar situation when we sit down) a limit in tablehopping? a " relax, you have changed tables 102 times during past 12 minutes, try to finish a board sometimes. You have another chance in 15 seconds" screen?

several of my partners play flash. they have problems seeing loaded cc`s or dont see em at all. When chatting i find myself sending mess. to the wrong ppl a lot in flash, the last person you send something too stays as next receiver while in windows version you send to the table you`re playing at. that makes more sense to me as your table is your main chat, when someone logs in you say hi and that's it. more chat needed i use control+r. Yes, its what im use too but i like it and do not find this minor chance a good one. Loading profiles in flash, arggggg :( slow, before i read /see it the player i try to look at has a new partner already. having to click it away=bad change imo. Hover over a name-profile show, move mouse=profile gone, now thats perfect for us lazy folks. i can live with partners using flash, altho not seeing same cc is regrettable . But if ever we only have flash as option to play i wont be a happy camper and might not log in anymore. i tried flash numerous times , just for the mere fact that Staff advocates the flash version very strong. Days in a row but its not for me, sorry. i wish i was on the flash side just for the fact i understand that staff wont be doing anything on the windows version just to push ppl towards the new thing. So often games are rigged in favour of big country/teams. my favourite standard played eufa final in and against barcelona, they got ahead 0-1 and referee made sure barca won by given every fair and unfair advantage to them. Belgium-germany final europe championship in 1980. Rigged belgium-germany in WC in USA .rigged Belgium-Brazil in Korea-Japan. Rigged its an endless list of small countrys beeing ripped off fair results in favour of bif countrys. the elderly amoungst us will remember the stolen final Holland_Argetine in the 70`s. Why wont they use technical aid (video replays) to decide whter or not ball crossed line or not? its simply because once they do that theres less possibiltys to fix results This was not fixed, only a blind referee that is disallowed to look at the screen and see his error. in futsal it wont come to penaltys once a referee decides to let one team win, he does it in the playtime. sending one or two off, freekicks given/not given etc. mucho time and ways to ripp a team off during playtime

they do that now in holland when you want to go to the USA . airport security are to be found fighting over shifts when university studentees have their flights planned

people do that on bbo in massnumbers several times a day and are not punished for it(unless it becomes an excess) so why get all excited over it when its life one can advocate. I say, hars punishment is in place, online and offline

maybe i`m wrong but people "needing" a new name everyday makes no sense unless the old name been used for bad things such as run during play, rude, use this site as a datingsite and received a "bad name" amoungst certain of their subjects . i can think of a 100 reasons to change my name but none of these reasons have an ethical background.

i try on occasion this new version but it is a disappointment each time. i cant find to set my language to English, somehow it comes up in Dutch. dunno if i done it myself but i cant alter it or cant find where anyway. What i wonder is: the web client means we all are playing on a server where in the windows version much of the calculations are done on people own pc? does it therefore not make the web-client more expensive for bbo? i `m completely wrong in my thinking probably but i would hate to see the old bbo disappear. If someone was to explain to me why it is impossible to maintain the windows version side by side to this new thing i would welcome that. If only for numbers its impossible to run the windows version cant you disable new users the windows version? i would appreciate me being the last of the mohicans and enjoying the windows version till last day of my BBO-appearance

impossible here. Hardly possible here to start overnight a company and starting billing total strangers for services not given and receive money for it. One goes through years and years before being able to write a bill . 7 orr more years of education, several years of trainee , then assistant. then your own practise , why risk having all that time and money invested become useless since they take away your medical license . This all when you have a better then decent income makes the incentive to commit fraude small. Either its made almost impossible to commit fraud over here or we as citizens are that honest its not in our nature to commit fraud. i believe its the first. yes, it happens on very rare occasion that a medical degree starts over billing. Lets say doing ten patients a day, but billing 25. they lose their license to ever practise medicine again . But lets look at a simple doctor: you as a patient pay him 20 Euros, when you go to healthcare you get 18 Euros back so a homepractising doctor cant fraud since he receives only money directly from patients. So its only some professions that can actually fraud but its soo rare that it is big big news whenever something naughty happens. Whenever a system of fraud comes known administration fixes that way of doing things. Fraud isnt a issue here, nor i hear it being a issue in country's neighbouring mine so maybe looking at other places and adept a better way of handling those problems works better.

So it means that medical cost is actualy forced into a marketsystem where the clients(sick people) checks up on the bill. If doctor A was to ask double for the same as Doctor B then doctor A would not be in business long. paying for medical care is only the lower bills, its to keep some folks to see a doctor/dentist/spychiatrist every day. Hospital bills are paid for a large portion from the goverment direct and the sick people receive a small (own portion) later on. Then theres the annual maximum bill, means once you spend over a certain amount a year(people with a ongoing condition) the goverment takes care of eevry bil. then there are the people who cant afford even the annual bill, well they get it for free. Noone wants to be in that situation since it means you are very poor , but at least you have healthcare.

What fraud are you talking about? if health insurance is there for everyone how can one fraud. there's never any money paid to the sick people so the only fraud possible is doctors claiming to have given care that they haven't and receive money for it. Again in most developed country's most money spend on healthcare goes to actual healthcare. If the USA was to cut administration cost in half every single person in the US without healthcare would get it and get it for free at the same cost. they way it goes with you is like this Person A wants insurance and goes to firm B Firm B opens a dossier, checks the history of person A and decides whether or not person A gets insurance. if yes person A gets sick, another person( A doctor!!!) in firm B investigates if person A should receive financial support for that sickness. If yes cost are taking care off. if not bankruptcy lies ahead for the sick person and the doctor saying No might receive a bonus for denying healthcare. That is sick!!!!!!!!!! Over here everyone gets automatically insurance, only extra insurance is possibil. you can buy the option you get a single room when hospitalised and those cost are covered or a insurance for pay check lost when sick. Stuff like that, none is discussing/insuring the basic health need , everyone gets that for free.... As for having to get insurance when ones to visit usa beeing cheap.... I been to India and my healthcare was never an issue, yes india. While there i heard storys about usa folks visiting india to get treatment , treatment combined with the travel was at a lower cost then receiving the same treatment in de states. Thats sick!!!!!!!

you american people should realise that 12% of your medicost goes to administration due to the crazy system you developed. if only half of that money was recovered(lets say: all the medipeople now accepting, denying, checking, investigating sicks peoples helpclaim) then all the people now without insurance would have insurance. What you rich folks with insurance do is think that your bill will go up if the guy next door gets a bargain on his insurance. you seem to forget that per person you spend as much as the next country where everyone is insured and noone goes bankrupt due to medical bills. A belgian doctor went to las vegas on holiday, he got a heartproblem there, was brought to the clinic. spend there two days, returned home with a 76.000 dollar bill. Sooner or later this will start to affect your tourisme, people slowly start to be afraid of visiting USA and having the bad luck of falling over a bananaleeve, breaking a leg and having to sell their home in their own country to pay for the medical bill. Given my luck i wont be visiting america in this lifetime. Always wanting to see the grand cayon but what if i stumble over a rock and need plaster. Damm, i cant afford it. there been a survey to determine talent. What they did was examine the number of hours medal winners invested in their sport(training, etc). They came to the conclusion that all topathletes invested without exception more time and effort in their sport then the athletes just below them. i use to do different sports at rather high level. Guys improving faster then me had the advantage of being on a unemployment cheque so they could train while i was working giving them an edge. One of the things several coaches told me was: if you wanna make it, think, eat and sleep your sport. can your job and start training even more. So since talent is overrated i think motivation and the possibility to invest a lot of time and effort into your sport combined with a winners mentality (most of the topathletes we see really cant stand losing, whether they show it in public or not) are key for getting on top and staying on top.

i wonder why in America more educated healthcare people work in insurance companies getting bonuses denying people healthcare then educated people work in real healthcare. Anyone seen that movie "sicko" ? Its a real shame Or this might wake some people healthcare around the world and Sick in america Its a basic need that people have healthcare to fall back on if they become sick. Off course there are excesses everywhere but for a country claiming to be an example for other countrys healthcare should be avaible for all. If Obama provides cheap/free healthcare for even one family more then now giving people hope/future i can only support that. Must say i didnt follow the exact bill or what it would mean/change, i can only hope that lots more inhabitants of the US are provided with medical solutions for their health

is it possible to have software that allows multiple languages to enter tourney? now only one is possible but i want to open for lets say all English, Dutch and French users.

if my partner or me have a second of bad connection during round change we are dropped and this is an improvement you say? cant see the advantage here. My Indian friend Aramesh_ sometimes suffers from a red nose, playing with him is for fun and to pass time . He sometimes needs to log in again but always has enough tempo to play in a timely manner like the next guy, why would we have to be ejected? Furthermore them players not wanting to continue due to a bad score make sure they are red during roundchange and are excused from tourney without consequences. Another downfall if you ask me

Active scanning/searching for cheaters and banning them is far better. I know a certain yellow that will not enter a tournament if kibs are blocked. this is punishing the people that want to kib without cheating. And them cheaters will find another place to do their thing, start their own table in main or host their own tournaments and continue. Just try and catch em , when you do, let them in again after a year and look at their behaviour once they are back

and try and get someone to behave that is paying for certain things is even harder. numerous times i heard tds say that hold paid tourneys that people paying 1 $ think they bought the persons running those events..
