i had a go at 4 hands earlier, it's a very false format because seeing the highest score gives you an indication of what can make, i.e. i bid a grand needing a shed load to be right, but because of the highest scores i was pretty sure it would be (and it was).

I don't particularly like 3c but partner should never pass a game force bid like that and your opps should shut up and mind their own business.

I think it's pretty close but one things for sure, if there was a BIT before the 5H bid and this hand raised then i would roll it back.

As a point of interest a raise to 4 of a major (i.e) 1♥ pass 4♥ is preemptive for nearly all players because people have a way to show a genuinely strong raise in the major, for example Jacoby 2NT where 1M(major) 2NT shows a game forcing raise in that major and asks partner to further describe his hand. ps welcome to the forum :)

LOL it's very easy to hate bids when you can see the entire hand, that's just resulting crap, but as for "leap to 5 diamonds is spot on" well i have to say it again LOL it's the kind of bid that week 1 beginners will make, it's just totally nuts

after your 2c 2d 3s 4s start i guess 6d should ask for 3rd round diamond control

it seems to me like a choice between 1s and 4s (personally i would go for 4) - when our spades are so much better than our minor i'd rather just treat it as single suiter

it's close but I think we're just about worth a 3s bid - for a 13 count our hand could hardly be any stronger.
