  1. 3rd set broze - jordanova was tied
  2. I don't think that's true. At least previously you could still only have one challenge to the same person going at one time.
  3. broze 6 - veryfy 4 broze 5.5 - sep123 4.5
  4. South might do more - if NS were vul I would be quite nervous to bid only 3S. I think pass from North is automatic. Not all that much blame.
  5. Still I agree with him. I think all his opponent's unplayed boards should count as .66 or something.
  6. broze 6 - Cherdano 4 broze 5.5 - herzas 4.5 broze - sep123 - Played. Result pending I can't log in to the client to retrieve the links right now. Can I access my hands without logging into the web client? I'm sure I used to be able to do this. FYI to my group I won't be able to play any more until the weekend.
  7. I don't undertand the point you are making. Surely playing with the robots it is actually easier to predict the contract at the other table than in real life since there is only one variable not two? In real life you can't rely in people bidding how you expect either.
  8. Ah yes I knew this - I was referring to SB's mention of "12 months". I thought the timeframe might be relevant but I suppose not. Should people be given a grace period for change of regulations? I.e. if this all happened the day after the regulation changed can a director be more sympathetic to the OS.
  9. What is the purpose of the comment "4♥ has been alertable for at least 12 months"? Is this a reference to a regulation? Anyway for once I will actually rule in SB's favour too. I agree with what he says. (Although as Vampyr says there should be a split score - 100% of 5Hx would be unfair).
  10. -23 in the third. Well played Stephen!
  11. First 3 sets vs Stephen Tu: -11, +3, +1 Set 1: broze 12 Stephen 23 Set 2: broze 43 Stephen 40 Set 3: broze 12 Stephen 11 12 out of 16 on the last set were pushes. Merry Christmas all!
  12. Next two: + 13 and +16. 3rd set - broze 24 el mister 11 4th set - broze 37 el mister 21 Thanks for the games. I just want to say also that being able to play the hands immediately has sped up the process 100% so thanks BBO.
  13. First two sets against el mister. +28 and +26 1st set - Broze 33 el mister 5 2nd set - broze 40 el mister 14
  14. If my pard made this bid undiscussed I'd be fairly sure that one of us had forgotten the system. However I think I have made agreements about this sequence in the past. The 6♣ bid usually shows a void and an odd number of keys but where the bidder cannot have a void the bid shows an odd number of keys and at least AKQx in the suit.
  15. Thanks for the game Frank. I felt you were hard done by on a few big swings over the match. EDIT: Board 1 did make me chuckle though. The bot believed his partner's signal and underlead AKQ♣ trying to get a ruff.
  16. I can't imagine agreeing 5C as anything other than "I want to play 5C". 4C fit seems perfect so I do that. If undiscussed I just make a forcing raise.
  17. Also solved I think. I haven't actually thought much about the layout but from general principles I think there is only one candidate for a lead to beat it.
  18. Yes result was correct. Here is the link for posterity.
  19. Nice. There are similar themes in the Rodwell files where a threat of "Chinese finessing" the opponent is combined with other threats. If they duck the HQ this is essentially a Chinese finesse.
  20. I've accepted elwood's challenge and played the hands so should be done soon
  21. Lost 5-7 to el mister. An amazingly low scoring affair! Thanks for the game. This is the hand I lost two IMPs on. I stupidly tried to claim when I had all the tricks on defence... And low and behold that was the match. Why hasn't this been fixed?? It cannot be difficult to program, particularly in a situation like this.
  22. Seriously? You want to do away with all pleasantries simply because you can't keep quiet? Honestly when I started playing on BBO when I was beginner having my partner tell me to "claim" was one of the most annoying things ever - particularly as often it was not a claim situation. Even if you could see your partner's cards at the bridge table in real life telling them to claim would as mentioned above be rude and moreover illegal. Don't do this.
  23. Imo it is absolutely not an issue. Why is it any different to someone promoting a bridge book for example?
