Am I reading this correctly??? A TD of some standing deliberatley NOT bring a Deliberate act of this nature to the attention of the TD of the day. This shows how the game SHOULD be played How ???
 There are I am glad to say still quite a lot of us 'Dinasours' who play 'Old Fashioned' Acol :D As for Sick And Yellow Colour Yuk the very thought makes me want to Throw up ;)
As 1 eyed jack says The easy way is to set up a Club (public) Then set up a Members list and then prohibit anyone not on your Members list from Playing you can even bar Kibbers
I think the TD should investigate to try find out where the Mis-Boarding took place (it is feasable for some of the Teams to have actually played the correct Boards (say it was misboarded 3 rounds from the end then 6 teams would have played it correctly ) The rest get +3 imps I believe which could give 12 12 VP's
Nigel I fully agree with this and Cascades reasoning . But as it is an 'International' Bridge Copmetition then it may have been better to ensure 1 Judge from each Country concerned was on the Panel with the Majority of the Judges from otner NBO's
Wayne are you really suggesting that as the affair was between a team from the USA and a Team from Germany that Judges from the USA should not be used ???
Is the middle portion strictly true? I understand that if you play, and you play in a P2P event (Club or other) then after you have played say 12 times you are Automatically deemed to be a Member of the EBU
If TD's paste the Rules under which the Competition is being run to Tournament then that has to be not everyone who plays reads the Tournament rules before entering As for large amounts of 'Graphics' you may have a point :)
