    So with the invitational raise you have to make one more bid when opener rebids 2♠? That's terrible. You really want to stay at the 2-level when opener declines the invitation.

    I'd bid 4♦ over 3♠. I thought everyone played this as non-leaping Michael's nowadays, but apparently that's not the case.
