There were several interesting hands, especially the last 3 (I came close to doubling 4H as you did on 14, got greedy on 15 instead of winning in dummy and finessing the spade, and decided not to double on 16 after much thought). Yes, I'd probably even prefer it so that the results are based on what actually took place (or what will take place).

My match vs. el mister is still scored as 5-5 even though there were no comparisons. If this is ok, fine. I'm not even sure if a score adjustment will affect either the group rankings or the next round seeding.

I'm happy to do whatever the community feels is right. Currently the dropbox spreadsheet has the score between us as 5-5. As an aside the round of 32 in the dropbox spreadsheet has no number 30 seed and 2 number 26 seeds.

I did indeed play it and I guess you let it expire but I do not see the need for you to take a penalty as all contestants were given until the 28th to complete the challenge. It's the program that expires the challenges after 3 days or so. I leave it to the community to decide how we should proceed.
