Are you sure declarer has played low ♣ at Trick 3? Assuming yes think impossible to play anything other than spade ace at trick 5. But this can be set .West at trick 3 simply has to play ♣8 not the ace:) Once ♣8 wins cash ♣ace .East signals something in ♠. The west continues ♠. Now we know defense is easy when declarer shows out. If declarer has played ♣ 9 at trick 3 i dont think it is possible to set this unless I can see all 4 hands:) By the way on ♦ lead this might go down since declarer has to make a right guess in ♣ :)

It is acceptable to rebid 2♣ over 1♠ in this situation. ALso I wouldn't have responded with GIb's cards :) Over 2♣ he should bid 2♥ which would be the final contract. Over 2♥ I dont see any reason to bid 3♦

I think GIB was playing on novice settings! The bidding is horrible. Is there any explanation for that 4hearts bid? Also what is 5spades????? Both are gambling bids. To answer your question ..yes at trick 9 it should discard diamond on spade king. ALso corrrect line is to win opening lead in heart. cash 2 diamonds. ruff 3rd diamond.ruff heart. ruff diamond . etc and go 2 down :)

You have showm me 1 hand where the !d play is correct. I can show you 20 hands where the club play is correct. !c is def the correct percentage play. Think GIb is dealing bad samples

GIB really messed up this hand. The play was wrong from the start. In addition I don't understand why it didnt draw the last trump unless it was set to some beginner mode.
