Hi, when opponents have 4 cards 2-2 division is 40% probability but 3-1 is %50. In that 4 cards stiff honor probability is 12%, doubleton is 40% and trebleton is 38%. General rule for hook is when opponents have 3 or 4 cards hook against the K but not against the Q or J. I bet y'all take it out from there. Have fun!

Friends were playing vs GIB on MBC and i was a kibitzer. I asked GIB's advice. But it was very much different from the player GIB's bid at the table. Happy 2011♥ :rolleyes:

I don't know any body reported or not. Using web version. Say 1st round there's 10 tables in a tourney. After refresh button in same round reduces down to 9 tables !! But caption tells 10 tables. I recognize it as a "bug". It's strange that last table disappear in list while they play in same 10 tables tourney. Hope somebody cares, whatever.

Hey y'all, I have a little bit interesting observations about GNT. First of all i am indeed happy with the ACBL events. On the other hand i am a new guy at the town and most probably don't understand many things with their real reasonings. For example, in my local club three times GNT teams organised where the attendance counts were satisfactory enough. To the first one we were unable to join because of weather conditions, but the second and third one won by my two different teams. Then i bought several good books when i attended regionals & sectionals to practice as i qualified to play. Surprisingly, many people said several reasons and avoided to play for next steps. Let me try to clarify that 'several reasons' words : 1- Family & business matters, 2- Convinced each other that no chance to win for next steps, 3- Long distance Well, for sure i cannot question free will. However, in my mind still don't get it. Personally, i enjoy to play bridge and i believe the amount to be there with present reasonable prices is no big deal. I defend everything should come voluntarily by heart, anyways hoping to encourage more attendance how about to deduct fifty percent won GNT scores for people who did not run for the next first level? Best, Footnote : Just 0.08 silver points needed to raise NABC master level and i cannot wait next events. I know many people already reached 10.000+ GLM, congrats to them. This is my first year in USA and who knows if i can find time and energy i would be one of them. A very friendly atmosphere, i enjoy very much. Worths to each dime paid.

How was the dbl of 3♣ <after two pass to his partner's overcall> explained in both vulnerability?? Would completely be a honest question. GIB supposed to read and understand : 1- West's 8 cards on red suits, total 9 cards in hearts at righty and his hand 2- East's bid obviously minimum 6 cards clubs and a hand not suitable to play in openers suits, then East short in reds but long in black suits 3- South has no 3 cards spades, doesnt want to play a spade contract at any level and wants to punish opps after two pass with enough strength in an advantageous seat! There's a need to change many features of that software. It dealts and plays very different Best-Random-Hired formats. Why ? Is there a fun continuously to play misfit hands with offside hooks? Or say you got a fit but 5-0 offside break. Not nice! How about to quit irrelevant freak deals and allow everyday layouts? I want to see it worths to pay. Three years ago I was one of the guys regularly winning 10-15-20 BB$ there before things changed in root and in my time zone GIB tournaments were full attractive than these. Customer satisfaction means something there? Do you seriously care?

Have no idea they use macros or not. Could help to save time especially for speed tourneys. I prefer to use and read universally accepted short terms. (ie Mich-Michaels, 03, revd-reverse drury, F1N-forcing 1 round, wk2-weak two etc)
