a huge difference between opener's dbl or pass RHO 3♦. i tend to dbl THIS 3♦ with x KJ9x AQxxxx Qx With this hand,i can make 4♦ with partner's ♥Q&♦K&♠A. and i consider this DBL (to 3♦) force partner choose a choice before opps3♠,further more,it's semi-forcing to pd under 3NT. but,apparently,pass-3♦ show an more flat hand. the difficulty is - - this is really a poor hand for me to show a semi-forcing to pd. but, when i decide dbl-3♦ , my pd's passing become encouraging my 4♦ competition---- if i have 6cards ♦ as i holding now. if i hold a hand which has 75%defencing-high-card points(like: 3Ace and 3jack),i will give a DBL to 3♠ in spite of 6cards ♦,but now,i will recreant to bid 4♦. by the way, if i DBL 3♦ and pd pass 3♠,i can accurately count my pd have 6cards majors (3-3)and 7cards minors(3-4),and ♠ ace! regards 000002

leading from ♠KJxxx? what is the distribution of ♠ outside,2-2 or 3-1? we get lossing 75% of 22,50%of 3-1. when the distribution is 22 on ♠, i believe that they will seek 3nt before 4♥;and they should take a coperation DBL before their 3♥ overcall. i don't worry about the leading question,but i think i ought to take a plenty press on opps . regards 000002:(

i found it isn't chance to cuebid on 3rd level after i met a covey of player who get used to show their inferior high card with a cuebid on level3 . for example 1♣ 1♥ 1nt 2♦ 3♣ (they use precision sys) in their way,they cuebid 3♣ to show ♣ king or ♣ queen,without ♠ KorQ ,concatenating the trump is ♦. regards 000002

Cue bid on level3 is a very good concept,OFCZ it need something help. for example,assume cuebid promise 2nd control only. 1)we can sign-off 3nt with 28Hcps ,it's better than 4!h/!s almost. 2) when we want to seek shape which singleton/void hoilding,we can recue it or recue partner's cuebid( or hint). 3)when i want to show the key card on side-suit which showed by partner(1h-2c,2d-2h,side suit is !c),i can over cue to show 2key card. for instance:(1h-2c,2d-2h,3d-3h),the opener 3!d denies !s & !C control,then his 3!s==recue pd's control :my !s is singleton 4!c==recue pd's control :my !c is singleton 4!d==recue myself,but why not bid 3nt?it's over cue bid apparently:i have 2key card on !c,OFCZ is !c QJ now. if we cue bid to ensure 1st control,it's many messages to show too,when we combine it. regards to u 000002

the double is penalty because the double by partner is cooperation. if u define this double as t/o ,ok,no many question but a little problem ----u will lose a punishment when u hold 3Ace & 5cards ♦: Ax AJx JT8xx AJx if u prefer to use this dbl as a t/o ,that means u have a singleton ♦ & 17hcps: KQxx ATxx x AKJx don't bid too aggressive with a balanced hand ,especially after ptn's negative passed. regards

I oppose the BERGEN raise because : (1) i never use Natural SYS lately. (2) opps always double my 3♣/♦ to show his weakish ♠ 5card suit,then, my partner has deep pain to guess how to do after opps 4♠ sacrifice & 3♠ competetition. (3) how can i do when holding Axx x Qxxx QJxxx following partner's 1♠ opening? (4) when we use 2nt-leap as 3card support,my partner can't unfurl his singleton/void suit ,he had to show his 4card suit since 4-4 fit better than 5-3. 000002 regards

the opponents would made their 2♠ if our total HCPs has 22 only. and 2nt with 22HCPs has 40% probability or more to accomplished. 14-17 is a good advice
