  1. my method: double is penalty cuebid is game forcing 2nt is transfer when 2suits are known, lower cue is invitation and higher is gf. regards
  2. 3♣ leap almost shows a super-double-fit in minors,so 3♠ for stopper is possible . As you like, i wish this is a splinter show as you.
  3. alter ♣ Ace to ♦, 3♠ for stopper is good
  4. Alter ♥ k+j to Ace, propose 3♣ leap. and: 1) a cue-bid 2♦ --mild invitation with black ACE ; 2) 2♥ cue-bid ---intense game with black Ace & doubleton ♠ & ♣ Jack
  5. I nominate this for the worst post written in 2005. The Chinese team played very very well, they were certainly worthy to represent the 1300000000 Chinese. Bridge is a game of mistakes, if you are not willing to make mistakes then you should not play bridge. Please don't burn your team for making a mistake. I illustrate (chinese team) to those 1♠ suggestion,it's a serious accident on the table(chinese "forgot" open and "forgot"balanced). If you ovecall a simple 1♠ which 7-19HCPs possible here, no way to distinguish this interspace(12p) LATER.
  6. 4nt then ♦ if partner bid ♣
  7. nop,not nope how to show 4major+6min and 11hcps with your method? thanks
  8. oh nop in this transferable major's auction, to show a 6crads minor surely and 6-9hcps
  9. That's no good. 4♣ would set the suit. What else can you do if you are 5-5 in the blacks? 4♦ will set diamonds, and 4NT will be key card ask for diamonds if you like. Roland oh my god. Now the only way( i think ) is to cue by italian method---1st or 2nd control. I think this is a simple FAQ ,y?
  10. hi Robert it's an exemple: [hv=w=sjxxhxxdaxxxcxxxx&e=skqxxhxxdxxxcakqx]266|100|is't possible to pass out 1♠?[/hv] REGARDS
  11. hi mikeh if you lose a 70% slam ,it's not the end of bridge world. BUT, if you lose a 70% slam and play a partscore contract, it's humiliating to me indeed.Just like an chineses team playing Bermuda ,lose a 7♠ to defense a 3♦ contract preempted by usa1(MR Nickll?) . I think it's a discreditable to 130000000 chineses! Ditto, if you lose a 4♥ game to play 1♠contract---and down1, i am regret for you. regards 000002
  12. 3♥ then 4♦ : cue ♥ and an forced cue-bid. because of the difference between the auction:1♦-2♥/2♠ response & 1d-1s-1n-3h/2h rebid. Now define 3♥ an natural bidding as you like,a clear forcing cue-bid is 4♦, it denies♣ control or ♣ace, then ...5♣...show...
  13. TO those adorable 1♠ overcaller: LOSE game with this hand,to play a down-set contract 1♠ x Jxxxxx Jxxx xx GOOD LUCKS in your life, 1♠ overcaller:-) regards

  15. hi friends. I explain my pass with this example: 1♣=dbl=pass=1♦ 2♣=pass=pa=2♦/♥ pass=2♠ what 2♠ discover? p/c? or game inviting?
  16. The more cards we hold in the opp's suit , less cards(opportunity) fit on "our" suit. I reckon that a 8cards fit (almost ♠)more frequency than 9cards fit, and 2♠ balanced bidding is dangerous to encourage partner's 3♣or 3♦ bid with 11HCPs & 6cards suit. OFCZ, we'll lose a game sometimes ,even as a♠ slam .
  17. Highest leading WARN : switch! if you can.
  18. THANKS for your advice The another important associated question: 1♦===1♥===dbl===pass 2♣===2♥===pas===pass dbl? Is it an intense suggestion for penalty ?
