  1. Partner west know what you have - 1NT opening - you not know what partner have??? Allow partner to X, not you.
  2. Its crazy X. Partner has passed, partner has passed, partner has passed! Bid the SEVEN card ♣ suit.
  3. One dimensional analysis. You forgot that the opponents can make part score or game and its <10% that 4♦ will be X. Partner needs knowing that you have ♦ support. Without ♦ATx in his suit he must have tricks outside in ♥s??? Counting losers is losing bridge, not supporting partner is losing bridge and partner bidding 5♦ on his own is crazy bridge!!! Partner bidding 5♦ after you support is normal bridge...Yes?
  4. East must bid 4♦ after North bids 3♠. West bidding 5♦ alone is crazy.
  5. MISFIT. PASS. Strength by distribution only. If partner cannot open again balance then you have not lost any ground. South also pressured to make bid also.
  6. I open 1♠ 1♠ 1♠.... 2♠ is weak. Partner need good hand (<14) to use Qgust 2NT over weak two bid. But not so good hand (11/12/13) can make game opposite this 1♠ opener. If partner at margin for two over one respond, then game 50/50 with any cards?
  7. PASS. PASS. PASS. Pass does not only say "I have a poor hand ". It also can say "I have NO sensible bid to make" No bid, no lie.
  8. BE COOL. Trick 2 lead small ♣ in tempo. You can see dummy. No good declarer with ♣Jx(x) in his hand is going to let it run to ♣J. Does a good declarer want to go down at trick 2 ??? That is psychology. If declarer has ♣Jx(x) he can finesse you later any way. Put pressure on declarer trick 2.
  9. X for me. ♠K probably good. This is missing from discussion: east and west are both weak 1♠-2♠ lol so have they the points or distribution to X YOUR contract? only maybe. I would like to know system that E/W are playing, 1♠-2♠ weak or constructive,or have they option to raise ♠ weakly through forcing 1NT?? Knowing there methods would help me decide, but X looks normal not crazy.
  10. West bids 2♠ (6♠+ with DONT here. So ♠ spade suit break 5-1 only, -400 score.
  11. North bids 2♦ better than 2NT. Because North can control contract and will be either 4♠ or 6♠/7♠. 2NT just wastes space. Jacoby 2Nt is overrated with 2/1
  12. Sex is a lot like playing bridge. If you don't have a good partner, you'd better have a good hand :D
  13. Yes. I see what you are saying. North could be 3352 instead of 4162. that 4th ♠ make all difference. Bigger fit. Not easy to show good 4 card support here. 4♥ splinter instead of 3♠? Human bid not robot?
  14. Or South hope 4-3 in ♥ for 13 tricks...62% For squeeze to work, East need 5♥ + ♦K. Yes? Lower percent. Pilowsky is right as at imps N/S should be playing 7♠,not 7NT.
  15. "West leads a ♣ against South's 7NT contract. 17 imps on a MISCLICK." The OP put reason why next to board diagram.
  16. Win some, lose some. 2♠ always even red/green.
  17. Open 3♣vul/non vul. No defense. Ops will have ♠, if you and p have ♥. pass and open at one level are marginal. it is a bum hand to rebid. 3♣ may not be good bid but some time I like give the ops guess here.
  18. I am motorcyclist. I use doublefold like cowboy big cotton bandanna over mouth and nose. 27 x 27. also dust mask under. wash easy and dry quick after each journey. I can breath ok. good protection.
  19. 2♠ can be right but hand is not minimum with 6421 and high card in long suits. I play pass forcing and then 3♠ as invite. You have 2 more ♠ cards than 4M. partner has 10+ but can have more. 2♠ can be passed with ♠xx ♥Qxxx ♦Axx ♣Axxx
  20. A good book. Makes me look like a amateur. lol Bridge at the Edge and The Rodwell Files are also favorites.
