  1. What I tell people I am teaching when choosing to make an opening bid has little to do with points... What is the worst bid you can hear from partner? And then, do you have a comfortable rebid? Seems to work well with intermediates and below. Sean
  2. Always be careful with accusations. One of the Swedish players in the Olympiad balanced with ♠T873 at the 2 level. This was described as an agressive bid by the commentators, not cheating. Sean
  3. I have a weird response for you. Pass. The bidding isn't over, there are far too many points missing. Even if the bidding comes back at you at 4♥, you won't be too unhappy to think about 4♠ since your partner has not much or has already doubled 4♥. 5026 is a pretty good shape to be saccing with. I know a lot of people will disagree with this answer, but it is another choice. Sean
  4. Have you tried subbing them with Sitout? I have no idea if this will work. Sean
  5. Very good idea. I would add one thing to it though. That when looking at the checkboxes it displays the Tourney window for that Tourney so you can see if you want to sub in that one. An example of this would be an Acol or wj2000 Tourney and you not knowing the system. Sean
  6. I agree. I ran an Individual that was 4 tables, 15 rounds. I assumed I would get the perfect movement for the Tourney, in retrospect from other events I should have known that this was not the case. However, it would be nice to have better movements for events. Sean
  7. At the moment, as I see it, we have 3 colours for names when people chat... Red = now disconnected Light blue = private chat Green = general Fred may hate me for suggesting this but I am suggesting some more. When I TD and I chat to "Tournament", I am still in green which sort of blends in with other messages. Why not an "isTDnow" check and change the colour for chats to the Tournament? Dark blue perhaps? I saw today Walddk2 say something on "Broadcast", it was green also, perhaps for Yellows on "Broadcast" or "Lobby", (or perhaps more), their name appear in yellow. Perhaps for friends, purple, perhaps for enemies, black. The user's friends' and enemies' lists are already loaded so this last part is not impossible, just a pain. The first two are far more useful and beneficial. (With reference to enemies, perhaps an option to choose whether you even see their chats at all.) Comments? Sean
