  1. This problem is most likely caused by wrong network settings, especially when a DSL connection is involved. Please give some details about the type of connection and the operating system, I will then give you some pointers (links) to newsgroups articles dealing with that problem. If you like, you may visit http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en and search for "20 minutes disconnect" or something similar. Regards Andreas

  3. Who is going check whether I really know, let's say, Acol & RKCB? What shall happen if it turns out I don't know? Andreas
  4. Hi @ll, one need not be a great typist to explain a bid in due time. Simply prepare a text file which contains the system notes, open it in the background, then transmit the relevant explanation via LHO/RHO chat using "Copy & Paste". Large text passages must not contain line breaks (CR/LF, a.k.a. ENTER) - chat text will be displayed only up to the first line break. Regards Andreas
  5. Hi, It seems your problem has nothing to do with the BBO software itself - it is either a message from a personal firewall (if you have installed such a beast :) ), or some Adware or Spyware found its place on your computer. If it's the firewall thing, adjust the firewall settings to always allow connection to BBO without any further confirmation. Should it be some Adware or Spyware, download and install a) SpybotSD and :) Ad-aware and run these programs to get rid of the annoying message/s. SpybotSD: http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?...ng=fr&page=news Ad-aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ Good luck Andreas
  6. Hi, This one is a bit unclear to me. What do you mean by "spam"? Is it some text, or a message box, or something else? Please give some more details. Regards Andreas
  7. Luis - I really appreciated all your previous posts but here I must disagree. From the Bulletin: "Lauria’s partner had left the table after putting down the dummy, so Lauria was playing the cards himself. Lauria apparently expected Soloway to cash his winning heart, so he pulled the S7 from dummy". 1) Lauria played the card HIMSELF 2) Why blame Hamman? and 3) Why the <anything> had the dummy left the table during the last hand of such an event? Incredible.
