Hi all. im having a discussion whit a friend of mine, he think that my bidding is crazy and that im just a very lucky kid, thats why i usally get good scores:) well i have to agree whit him sometimes,but not all the time, like on this hand: we were playing a friendly team match, my p was one of bbos star players,we have played together a few times, but only system agreement we had made was " sayc,std carding" so the bidding is all natural. i hold thees cards : ♠QJ973♥983♦AQJ2♣J you are dealer, voul vs not. pass-3♥-X-4♥-4♥-pass-4nt-pass-6♦-pass-6♥-pass-? now what?? i choose to bid 7 ♠ now, all pass and dummy comes up whit: ♠AK1052♥A♦K54♣AQ102 and 13 tricks was claimed. now my friend say i just closed my eyes and bid 7,but i dissagree, but pls vote and tell me what u think, was 7 a wild shot? could p have less than what he had after the bidding? kenneth:)

ok now i have done some reseach on this and it happens when im chatting whit someone,like aisha sayd, when im chatting whit xx i get a messege that yy (whom i never have talked to) have loged off. it happens 6-7 times a day now,more and more often. And one more time : this is from pepole i dont know or have resived/send a messege too, so u can say its out of the blue. kenneth

hi,yes i know u can be notified when friends log in,bit thees messeges come when peopole log off. if u try to write a messege to someone and the log of before i send it same thing happens,so im sure its a bug,but ill send a mail to fred. kenneth

hi,a small messege box comes up whit ex "helium has loged off" .simular to the small messsage box thats appear when u send a mail via bbo-chat. this have happend more and more ofthen last 2-3 days kenneth

Last few days i have gotten messeges when peaople i dont know log off from bbo. think this is a bug or something. before i got thees same meggeses if i was chatting whit friends and they logged of,but now its from peapole i dont know or have contact whit. kenneth

I still don understand or agrre in ur secound adjustent, you say that the doble is a non say call,the hand was ♠kj9754♥j76♦64♣j2 I whould say that its a bad x no matther what kind of x its suppose to be, but the problem is that hes partner, holding♠AQ63♥AJ9♦987♣K53 dint pass the dobble (which are a penalty x after the system)but pulled to 3 ♠ and found hes p whit a superfit. now lets say the hes partners hand was this: ♠xx♥Kxx♦QJ10654♣Ax now opps are 800-1100 down in 3 dimonds X, but he polled the dobble to 3 ♠ got dobled and went 500-800 down,whould u adjust now? the guidelines in sayc is that neg x is true 2 ♠ but this does not mean that every x after 2♠ is 100% penalty. kenneth

I think ur adjustments are strange, in the first exsampel i fully agree, and i whould adjust too, but this is the only exemple i agree on, the other exempel in ur post i really dont understand, u adjusted the score couse it wasent a sayc call?? shouldnt the players be free to use there own jugement? if 3 dimonds was cold i would say it was a good take out,penalty dbl or not.bridge is a partneship game, and its scary that u feel u have the right to adjust in this case. to take out the doble is just good bridge. kenneth

Yes this is a strange action thats obvius, but think about it for a minnut, North first bid 3 nt, now if he is cheating alone this is a really terrible bid couse in 90%of the time p pass this bid playing sayc. so we have to asume the both vere in on the cheat, but then again why bid like this? my guess is that north was very displeast whit hes partners 5♦ bid,(u dint say scoring but if its mp i really understand his frustration) and bid 6♥ out of anger or frustration, maybe hes having a really bad tourney and this is the 5th partner in a row that mess up for him, we all know what variaty of players u could meet in indys.dont see any need to look closer at norths hability from this game and i whould not adjust

I dont take it more serius than a robbergame whit friends, But i have to say its sad to read ur post clas,i really hope u have more respekt for the game and bbo than it souned like in ur post,its thinking like that that ruin this game, its sounds like you have no etichs att all. sad really sad kenneth
