The decision to not reseat players automatically in free games was intentional, as the free games are a lot more random in nature, and original player has not paid anything for that seat. They can always be reseated by hand upon request but it's very frequent that they do not wish to come back.

Correct. You can permanently assign a player to the seat by subbing them in twice: Once to replace another player, and the second time to sub with self. A message saying "Player blah permanently assigned to seat" will also be sent via TD call, to let you know the permanent substitution was successful.

Buglet was: tourneys with 5-digit number were not showing registrants. It was fixed almost immediately.

We show google and bridge ads on mobile. The bridge ads are nice and clean, we manually post them. But everything else is google with almost zero control. I saw a weird ad taking up half of my screen as well. Trying to figure out how to block this, but there aren't many options available. Meanwhile we can hide ads for your account so you can play without interruption. Send me the username in private message please. Sorry about this.

For those who need bigger tourneys, they can verify if their NBO already has a virtual clubs program and obtain a virtual club account from them, or send an email any time to tournaments@bridgebase.com where they can opt for one of the two payment models available (BB$ entry fees or fix fee per table).

Reseat player is how to put the player back. This is available in all tourneys, not specific to pay ones.

There were no IMP 18-boards at all this year. We used to have 18 board pair games in both IMPs and MPs many years ago (5 or more), but they were not popular so we stopped them. We re-introduced the 18 board MP ones this year when the much bigger number of players and the new population used to longer club games seemed to need a more varied selection of games. For those, each club sets their own schedule, but as far as I'm aware IMP scoring is unheard of in VACB World.

Thanks for the screenshot. the js error and the other stuff are related to ads, they don't impact the client. Please clear cache, not just cookies, and try again. The changes we made these past days were related to URLs and https redirects, nothing to do with cookies.
