I would've bid 4♥ over 2♠ with opener's hand. I agree with responder's 2♠ slam try. Edit: Oh, wait, I'm stupid. 3♠ is clearly slammish. Responder has to do something here, then.

I think it is close the first time around, and I would probably double, simply because I cannot stand bidding over 2♠ with this hand. 2♣ is nowhere near the running. Pass the second time around comfortably. My hand is super-defensive.

Maybe this is inconsistent, but I think I have less to gain by preempting wildly now. 2♥, though; partner's pass should practically promise 2+♥ at all white (unless he is 4144). When they start 1♣-1♦, this is just annoying enough for them to get a couple of decisions wrong without seriously risking anything.

I think that you should've asked your RHO who he thinks he is.

I think that agreeing 2♠ as NF is close to unplayable. There are too many hands that simply want to suggest spades as a possible contract that are always going to game.

3♥ for me; there goes my vow to not preempt on junk. I like 7-4 way too much to pass this one. This has a couple of ways to gain; it would be really pessimistic to assume -500 against air.

Okay, so RHO is 4441. Attacking spades or diamonds is too likely to cost, given that RHO has strength in each, so it is between a passive heart or club. Given that RHO can only finesse one way in clubs anyway, I'll try that.

I can't think of any intelligent way to investigate 7♥ (or if we can even make 6♥), so I'll just bid 6♥, which should make the majority of the time.

I don't like to splinter with stiff A. 3♥ is really conservative and I would never seriously consider it.

I don't see any huge problem with playing Wolff here, but I think that since the hand is already limited, it may be better not to. Without discussion, I would assume 3♣ is nonforcing, since it seems more valuable to have a 4-5 minor signoff than some hand which is slammish in clubs, given that I have already limited my hand with 2♥. I can construct a few hands where presenting 5♣ as an alternative to 3NT is rational, but I think they are too infrequent to seriously consider. In general, it may be better to play a system with as many signoffs as possible.

I have a 4333 weak NT with spade wastage and only mediocre heart support opposite a PH. Pass seems clear.

Double > 1♠ > 2♦ for me. I don't strongly prefer 1♠ to 2♦, but I strongly prefer Double over either.

I think pass is really clear here. 3NT after this auction is a fairly unusual call in general; 4♠ and Pass are far more common (raising with a stiff is not unusual). It might show something like ♠x ♥QT9x ♦KQJTx ♣KQJ; slow values which suggest that 3N is better if partner doesn't have great spades. I don't take any issue to rebidding 1N with the stiff. I think that is the best call here.

Uhh, I'm not sure what anyone else bid, and I'm not sure what "1 SA" is, but I would guess 2♥ is my choice.

I like to log my deals to look at later, but it is a pain to search through a bunch of files that sound the same to look at deals that I myself played. The solution seems to be to disable logging of hands while I kibitz. However, I still want these deals. Is it possible to change BBO to store the types of logs (my own hands, other people's hands, Vugraph) in three separate folders?
