  1. That is quite correct. However someone has got to be very very suspicious to ask BBO to look at it, but even if they have done that, does it prove that they have "cheated"? Personally if I ever felt I had to "cheat" I would just give up playing Bridge.
  2. It definitely should not be permitted . However if they are going to cheat to win at any cost by logging in twice Well unless we know for sure (and i am sure we all have our suspicions) not a lot we can do about it especially when they can play and kibbitz the same hand at another table in the competition ;)
  3. mmm I seem to remember that as for exercise portion of the sport the English teams covered that by bending their elbows regularly to down their pints
  4. rofl i think what is referred to is the Acol Club here on BBO

  9. If it was an Acol Club Tournament people are warned at the start about slow play and an automatic average being awarded by the software. If timing out. and you get a 2 minutes to go warning. so you should notify the TD if your opponents are playing slow.
  10. Sorry onoway but I am talking about a 'clocked' 14 minutes per round Swiss Pairs
  11. Whilst we are on the subject of Swiss Pairs. Is it possible for the software to actually match Pairs correctley on each round? I write this because frequently pairs are re-matched and play each other more than once, sometimes more than that as well. Seems to make a mockery of Swiss Pairs
  12. Maureen I must admit I am with 1eyed on this I mentor some and enjoy it but prefer anonimity
  13. Yes but what I think Steven is refering to is when a Table as happened is now hosted by someone NOT present and now players keep sitting and trying to play etc and eventually get fed up and move on; only for someone else to then jump in and haver the same problem Surely Booting rights could be given to an official of the Club concerned to clear this table
  14. Agreed Paul Home Rule for Yorkshire I say
  15. hygiene you say "reset" was the Hard Drive reformated? if not ALL your chat assistamnt data could still be on your Hard drive Malcolm
  16. If you still have any problems finding the Acol Club you can send a "chat" message to me or jandrew or ssukaye you will be helped
  17. Perhaps you need to get rid of Vista :D
  18. Surely the First thing you should do is report the matter to your Club Committee assuming you have one B-)

  21. With your comment above Gordon what woould you do as TD 'IF' a player was aware of this person doing it and then 'Deliberately gave wrong information by sorting his hand to give the impression of say a '2 Suited' hand instead of a Balanced hand ??
  22. Yes it can, as I outlined the way we do it Being a running pure Acol only Tournaments and in the main it works
