Yes, most TD's don't want to ask their subs to leave when they first have subbed. The subs are too valuable.

I agree with the above. Not playing supp doubles myself, I would bid 2♥.

This hand is too good for my definition of a trash Multi - we've defined it as too weak to invite game vs a 15-17NT. (This means there are hands we can't open 2♦ nor 2M.) We've quit the trash Multi when vulnerable, playing a constructive weak 2♦ then. Ah, we play it 0-7 not vul and 5-8 when vul. Otherwise 2♥/♠ is (8)9-11. I guess your style might be better.

I open 2♦ with this, trash multi. A 2♥ opening would be 8-11.

I think this is a very good point. But many seems to think control answers aren't really that good over strong 2 ♣, do you have any good suggestion for a system that actually work?
