Israel cannot stop this. The terrorists attacking Israel civilians do so wanting Israel to retaliate and because Israel will retaliate. Terrorists attack civilian people because the people's government will attack the terrorists in return, not because people or their government did something to the terrorists.

I love math, but I love applied math more. I had more than the minimum hours required for my Math Minor. I chose Computer Science and work in the Electric Industry where I love getting to use math in electrical engineering applications. Physics, or better Astrophysics, or Enigneering would have been other choices for me. I think possibly a lot of those people that might have chosen math are choosing another field in which they get to apply math in real world applications.

I believe the U.N. did when it made the USA a permenant member of the Security Council. There are four other members, but when a job is needing to be done, one shouldn't wait around to see if someone else is going to do it first. One should take charge.

In my partnerships, 4♥ overcall of a 1 level bid would have promised 8 hearts. I would have bid 3♥ I would pass after the double of 4♠. My partners would not expect me to bid over that double.
