in the last weeki played in BBo almost every day i also kibitz a lot i like the acol club but play ther aroud 3-6 pm greenich i am sick of 5 cards major system i am curently doing some reserch on forcing pass system ans fert opening maybe we meet online and play the other day i put a nessage on loby i overcalled with 4 cards was trying to tell partner i do make over call with 4 cards the partner didnt lke the idea i amzed how bad people play everybody make mistake but i will not tell anybody he is playing bad unless they ask

the story is realy funny a robot make 1 spade overcall with 6 Spade headed by a JACK the other robot bid 2 H... and the third bid 4 spade the robot are no the problem but the Programmer who do a lousy job on writing program .E-W the ROBOT have 6 Spade! or 6 Club !

THANK YOU VERY MUCH look very good advencer bid will be problematic but are always are in defensive biding normaly you dont get penalitie from doubling 1♥ or 1 spade someone is going to run it can be LHO or RHO

reading the post again the double on 2 ♦ is normaly a negative double without intervetion the hand is worth a raise to 2 heart even if partner open a 4 cards Major the intervention make the 2 ♥ raise weaker IMHO biding 3D over 2♦ will required a stronger hand and double folowed by support even stronger

I like the preemtive bid ! for me is was a clear double optional I did not consider 4 NT as T/O but its clear to me now it cant be Blackwood i still think double the best option partner is unlikely to pass he will bid club diamond or support heart

Thank you for replay !as i found out the big problem with the big hand who double a Fert opening that he is likeky to find partner with 4-6 HCP a balanced hand who is force to replay. LHO is siting over you and can be as strong as you the question if the double is 16+ what partner do with Zero point and a balanced 2=3=4=4 or 2=4=3=4 ect.. ?

seem to me that the biding of South is unclear South enter the auction with 1 Diamond to Show 4+♠ and 8+ High count point in balancing position South should have more point his partner inability to bid over 1 club say he is limited and unlikely to have a 4 cards major and 8+point but may have a balanced 9-12 with no 4 cards major the best south can do is pass and let them play 1♣
