You need to add another case to the MCR statements - if BBO cuts your connection midhand it will count against you - even if you log back in and reseat yourself and continue the hand.

I don't intentionally quit during a game, but my BCR is going down - presumably because everytime BBO drops my connection mid-game it blames me for it. Thanks BBO - a double whammy.

It would save me having to kill the audio everytime I log in.

I've just tried logging on to the Play server /v3 for the first time using Firefox on a Windows 10 laptop - I usually use the iPad app (I've had to change because the Director tab doesn't work properly on my series 3 iPad). As soon as I logged on I got an error warning pertaining to 'app version 5.0.9' - now to my mind, using a Windows browser is not 'using an app' and the version is wholly controlled by your web server. So why the error message? What do you expect me to do about it? Edit But now I can't reproduce the message, despite deleting all BBO cookies

I believe putting +slow+ in the description also helps, as well as +private+ to prevent others dropping in.

Whoever is the host has to reissue the invite to get the lost player back. They need to be on the correct server - the main one for Teams etc, the Casual for Relaxed etc. If the host is the one to get booted off, one of the other 3 will become the host and they need to do the honours - so you all need to be proficient hosts just in case.

This has been very helpful - and has highlighted a bug with the BBO app. On my iPad the Director popup windows for Substitute and Cancel are just the caption bar and nothing else. Same thing with Safari on the iPad and same thing with Firefox on the iPad. It's a series 3 iPad running ios 10.3.4 - The app on an uptodate Galaxy tablet running the latest Android behaves as expected. So it maybe that a newer iPad doesn't have that problem.

Except there is a real problem setting up Teams now that there are 2 games servers. If some of your potential team players are languishing on the Casual server then a) the system won't let you initiate the Teams match and b) they wouldn't see an invite if it did. Since BBO put in the second Casual server, you MUST ensure everyone who is going to play in your Teams is a) online and b) not on the Casual server. Otherwise you'll get very frustrated.

Except, of course, you are supposed to alert your partners bid, not your own. And you need to alert it before rho makes their bid. The 'alert' on this system is worthless - you have to use the 'chat' to do a proper Alert.

BBO recently deleted all the history hands, including those related to tournaments. However, they've left the 'place holders' for the tournaments in the user's 'History' section. If you click on one it says 'data not available', or words to that effect. If BBO are not going to reinstate the hands they deleted, can they either delete the place holders for the tournaments, or give us the users the option of doing so?

I had a seat reserved for me in the Relaxed Bridge Club. The session had been going OK, but then BBO disconnected me. So I logged back in, navigated to the table, clicked on the seat where it said 'Sit <username> and got message saying - sit refused !!! The only way I could get back was for the host to re-issue the invite to me. Why couldn't I just 'sit' at my reserved seat? Unlike today, when I got logged off from a Teams game, as soon as I logged on I found myself back in my seat at the table (though I don't know if the host had anything to do with it.

Using the iPad application, there is a 'Chat' option in the top right hand corner menu. Who are you expected to chat to? How do you 'cancel' the window that comes up? If you select 'Private', how do you assign a username? All very confusing.
