Can any of the people on BridgeBase that know my identity please check my eponymous.com I have been under vicious vindictive attack against me and my business for many years (here and oversees) it seems THis morning I woke up to find that according to my Oppo browser my domain has been suspended According to the Chrome browser on my PC I can still access the domain Its my main domain, all my emails and contacts for almost 20 years I am viciously attacked and trolled on many forums including industry support forums I actually want to know whats going on and am calling for help from anyone who believes in fairness and justice Please I'm under immense stress. Hi A few years ago I asked about a mysterious console that appeared when I started the BBO app. Nobody seemed to know what it was Now it's there for BBO and Funbridge apps Who knows what it is. A bit of debug code or something more sinister Possum PS come to think of it, does anyone else ever feel there is more in the BBO web client than just scripts and stuff. It has a creepy feel too, as if someone is in there. Sorry for being someone who feels and senses stuff that may not be there. But if you wanted to spy on some or maybe all the world's most powerful people....

If you are all going to keep interrogating in this way I will just log on again. As I said I come to this site and forums for a bit of fun. Too many overly-competitive and unfairly competitive people in my real life. And others who give me the nth degree all the time. Maybe other people dont see and feel things the way I do I see an overengineered and constrained everything. Sorry I shouldn't have posted it. But hands like this make me log off. I feel somehow the hands/dealer have changed and there is no feeling of real bridge hands, with any real sense that they aren't contrived, and that something interesting may happen I'm not up to much interrogation since I am still facing a major anti-competitive existential business/career threat (from a much bigger supplier damaging me seriously and unreasonably) which is causing me massive stress. I just need some light relief occasionally PS My baby sims confirmed that judgement on not even exploring slam wasnt that bad an option either But who could ever prove that the hands weren't random (at least not from looking at just the hands) - whatever rando means. I mean, setting up a hand manually to achieve some score distribution could be regarded as random by many. There are a few analogies?? to try to explain how I feel about these kinds of hands. Just when the dummy went down and I looked at my own hand it just looked like a join the dots bridgemaster puzzle I appreciate that it could in fact have been a totally random event in many different ways. But it didn't feel random - I appreciate they don't happen very often (this kind of hand) but I am sure the frequency of "non random" hands has changed What do people think of the choice of lead or a few people aiming for slam or somehow do something to miss out on 12 tricks, maybe they tried a finesse It did half cross my mind to explore a club slam but the majority went the same way as me I know I am a very ordinary player but when planning the hand after the lead I was expecting I may have to rely on a diamond trick or something Put it this way though, hands like this make me log out or try some of the Bermuda Bowl archive hands

I like to think there is more to it than that Of course it always has its limits and sometimes in our system we can at least sometimes give a preference to somebody else. But in my case I'm voting for something bigger no matter how dire current characters may be Come to think of it and please don't tell anyone, my interests are usually better served by the other lot I will never ever vote for. Thanks Richard. I have trialed a few different Bridge programs. I still enjoy using BBO its just for some reason I rent a bot for a while, play a few hands and then another week has gone I haven't looked into the different deal options available. etc

Which country do you live in. I would like to avoid it if possible :) But obviously if it works and there is a person or group who know what's best for everyone who needs democracy. EDIT If they leave it at just thinking they know what's best, talking about what's best, even lecturing about what's best, that's ok, but the next step ..... Speaking of tyranny though I was particularly taken by the concept of tyranny of the majority when I first heard about it

Once I had to chair a body corporate meeting. Somebody brought an issue for their place. We had an extended discussion that maybe we could all plan something as a group, and we agreed to all abstain. When it came to the vote though everyone abstained except for the person who brought the issue. It was passed by one vote :) Thats democracy. Not quite the consensus we had hoped for I think many associations have a goal of consensus but obviously you cant force a consensus. :)

I don't know if it was the cause but I had been neglecting my router maintenance for a while, did a long overdue check and noticed a possible flood of something at one of other ports, possibly when playing bridge. Sadly I neglected to check where it was from and which port. Even my paranoia can't cope with current stress levels. You don't get much information I think my router can't store much EDIT. Another similar flood this morning so maybe just a coincidence

Maybe its why I'm still on this forum but I find most complex counting systems too much for my brain to handle. I can cope with HCPs, maybe occasionally a bit of adjustment based on shortages or some other attribute of a hand, then I started counting losers and guestimating what partner's losers were (LTC) Its all too much for me :) Maybe teach beginners how to work out Kaplan Rubens in their heads EDIT. Boring personal stuff. When I was first taught how to play (a long time ago) I remember opening bids being something like 13 points, we had a weak no trump (occasionally strong). Then responder decided whether they had an opening bid too (enough for game), checked whether they had a trump fit, a suit of their own etc etc Then things started getting more complicated. I read in a book or a newspaper article about adding points for shape, and started bidding lighter etc What do you need to open these days, 10 points? with some shape, maybe 9 sometimes Regarding responses I still get into trouble with 2/1 and am stuck in the old, if you have opening bid opposite partner do a jump, and get into trouble with Soloways What else did beginner Possum learn. Limit bids. Strong twos and strong 2C, basic Blackwood, transfers, Stayman, not much else EDIT 2 But my philosophy on the world and how it has changed is informed somewhat by changes in Bridge. Someone will ask you a simple question (a direction perhaps) and rely on a very complex model and piece of technology and direct you to the wrong side of the city due to a small error. I had to ring emergency once. I was rather concerned when they had to check which country, state and city I was in :)

Its a very difficult situation after a long career and a long time in business to have deal with the situation I have been placed in through no fault of my own I am having to spend an inordinate amount f time to protect a name I have worked my whole life to build up. 20 years of business contacts and legacy and current projects potentially compromised. etc I don't have the resources (of any kind) to deal with such a situation To face so many threats to my personal, professional and business reputation due to one inconsiderate party is rather upsetting Definitely no time or energy or emotional resources to engage in any half decent passionate debate on anything Chat later :) Thanks again

Thanks for the comments My table gradually ground to a halt over various hands I suspected problems in the client/browser/OS/local network side of things :) Sometimes I have felt that the bots demonstrate a certain attitude from time to time. maybe they didn't like some of my bids I had made a few flexible interpretations of opening bids earlier in the session

Even silenced etc. Also curious how everything changes once the terrible Pre trump was removed by similar forces It has not looked good for many in science, the level of politicisation, lack of scepticism, and the attacks against alternative points of view. Come to think of it its not just Covid where those similar groups behave in such a way. Silencing alternative points of view, often well thought out and considered etc. It has been a disgrace to any involved in it I find the issue with the the multiple variants, the lack of effectiveness of the vaccines something that many intelligent thinking people knew was going to happen anyway. But we would have been silenced for not knowing what we were talking about. And if others can not see the "conspiracy" of interests between media, techs, etc etc they must be blind and dangerous to the world In conclusion to your points and others and all the attacks here and elsewhere and stresses here and everywhere in my life, simply for being an intelligent thoughtful observer and analyst. But clearly to some who like to attack anyone who raises questions etc Starting to wonder if these attacks are anything to do with various other attacks in different parts of my life. There seems to be a process of total attack against every aspect of my life, business and identities, on multiple forums. And no that is not paranoid. I have all the emails (and documents) and attacks to back it up. It could be this issue or various others I work in that have triggered those attacks. They could of course be unrelated Maybe think about what I said, read it, consider it, use whatever brains you have instead of instantly going all defensive and attacking the person Bear in mind all this stuff is very international now. And often people behind aliases know who people are and go after them on multiple forums etc Also it cant be lack of certificates. That would be ad hom but many people without those certificates get away talking BS on a regular basis here and everywhere One thing I have learned about through my life is power and how if enough forces are stacked against one person or group with an unpopular/undesirable message/campaign there is not much we can do about it. We will be silenced using one of the many means at their disposal And the evidence I have is totally uncontrovertible against some party. You don't know which party.
