I wouldn't accept the challenge, if I wasn't able to complete it. The problem turned out to be - I wasn't AWARE of the danger. I had an important meeting in 18:00 (the challenge deadline was 22:23, or something). I couldn't complete the match earlier that day, but I could play several boards before the meeting and finish the rest after the meeting; that would be enough. But, as I said - I wasn't aware... The fault is undoubtedly mine and I apology to my opponent, to you as a director and to all other participants. I'll be more watchful in the future...

Something very disturbing just happened in group C. Match mythdoc*-Povratnik is discontinued (hope temporarily). * I'm not even sure about the nickname of my opponent, it's just my memory... I was playing board 14 and an error occurred. Usual error when you play against robots; you get dropped, but reenter the tourney again and continue from the same spot. However, this time I don't have a tournament/match to enter in... Are there any cure? EDIT: I didn't see mythdoc's post. Now I understand

Group C sakuragi 9.5 : 6.5 Povratnik boards

Nothing important. Probably isn't a bug, but a special run-time error (A tournament* thrown me out and disappeared from my view, so I couldn't finish it). The point (and the reason for this post) is - I don't know the right place to report such a thing. Just curious... * Just a regular daylong tourney. I assumed - if you start a tournament, you'll finish it, regardless of the 24 hours deadline. At the very moment, my assumption looks wrong...

Well, having in mind that robots themselves sometimes severely lie about points, they should allow the possibility that partner also lies, for whatever reason. Especially when we are green against red, which fact actually was the reason for my improper overcall. But I don't want to be a nuisance... I see your point and I understand now. Thanks

Not concerned, just interested. I will join ACBL, in appropriate moment. Now I am trying to collect some information...

The formulation of my question turned out to be inadequate, probably because it was based on that exception. Before I managed to ask more properly, diana_eva has properly answered (thanks ♥). After that, I went to ACBL website and started reading... I've been thinking and decided to discuss a bit here, before I write to them. It's an internet forum, after all... But before I go deeper into the issue, just a short inquiry: Won't get registered in ACBL, or at all? I mean, if somebody plays ACBL Masterpoint Tournaments on BBO (and earns some points), without having (or without reporting) their ACBL number - the ACBL database of course will know nothing about that points. But BBO CAN keep the internal record about that player's "ACBL points" (separate from general balance which records all player's masterpoints earned on BBO). And that "ACBL points" balance CAN be visible in player's profile. Does BBO do that?

There is one thing that interests me for long time, but it is far from urgent, so I never asked... Could non-Americans compete for ACBL points on BBO? If the answer is YES, under what conditions? (This weekend ACBL tournament reminded me of the issue)

So I can hope it will be converted? Good enough. If you need a free worker, I'm here...

A few years ago (or perhaps several?) I was in BBO videos section. I liked it very much, but somehow managed to forget about it. Now I remembered, but couldn't find it...

I wanted to open a new thread, but there is no need. My suggestion would be: (If there isn't a better solution) The bidding box could be lowered a bit, just to not cover the cards. There is enough space and I hope it isn't very difficult to implement...

Oh, I see. Well, the tourney is still a gem and I am going to play every one I can.

This is message #209 from previous tournament thread. I liked the new policy, even if nobody said it's the new policy :D B-) However, I didn't manage to find the corresponding post in this thread. Since I was absent for a certain period, maybe I should ask whether it's my blindness, or early abandonment of the policy... <_< (Not going to wine, the very participation in such luxurious tournament is worth at least BB$100. I'm just a bit curious...)
