The idea, to full fill these empty seats with uniformed british soldiers was not very smart imo.

In the ACBL main team events the sponsors play usually at the same table, if they both take part in a particular quarter of the match. Is there some kind of unwitten rule, respectively a gentlemen's agreement.... or it will be really decided so (or not) by the captains in every single match.?

This ATP-Ranking system has been worked pretty good since 1973 but one of the major modifikations in there = "All opponents are equal"-rule sucked it IMO. The former counting with extra bonus points for beating higher ATP ranked players was fair. Nowdays two players reach R16 and get the same points, despite of fact that one won vs Federer another vs MrNobody.

Tja. No mercy , they finished 25-0. Poland demolished NED few hours before with 23-7 so the polish players had not a "black bad day" for sure....so Monaco showed probably an outstanding performance, once again.

Any fans of self-mixed cocktails here? Mixology tips & tricks? I started a few years ago with some classic cocktails like the Manhattan using popular ingredients Canadian Club, Martini Rosso & Angostura Bitters. It remains my favorite cocktail but with the time I have found my personally high-end Grand Manhattan using for it Carpano Formula Antica, Bulleit 95 Rye Whisky, Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge and Angostura. All this stirred of course, shaked Manhattan looks simply awful.Which variations do you prefer maybe? My grilfriend first choice is Cosmopolitan ( probably becuase all these crazy women in Sex and the City use to drink it heh) Anyway, I mix it for her with pleasure. Now is strawberry time here, so the "Rossini" time >>> Strawberry Sorbet, Creme de Fraise topped with Prosecco Extra Dry, an excellent light summer cocktail I would recommend:)
