As long as methods as Capeletti are allowed, i don't know why Multilandy should not be allowed. Anyway imho ACBL is putting big brakes in development of the game, thanks God i'm an european
1) I think that the signalling method worked out badly. If partner could show attitude on first trick, he can show some S/P on the heart tricks 2)I think that xx(x) KJ10x Qxx(x) AKQ is as likely as Qxx(x) KJ10x xx(x) AKQ, but passive play works only if declarer is missing some 10's
Playing in a strong team match, you are South, and bidding goes: [hv=d=w&v=n&s=sa2hkq3d104cakj1092]133|100|Scoring: IMP (1♠)-pass-(2♠)-?[/hv] Any plans?
Playing in a team match, you hold as South, and bidding goes: [hv=d=w&v=n&s=sak109hakd1098752c8]133|100|Scoring: IMP (3♥)-pass-(pass)-?[/hv] Please explain your choice, eventually according some scores from a 1 to 10 scale
Playing with your regular partner you pick as South:[hv=d=n&v=e&s=saj10hk82da2caq853]133|100|Scoring: IMP And bidding goes: 4♥-(pass)-?[/hv] Do you make another move, and if yes, which one?
[hv=d=e&v=n&s=sj2haqj105dk753ca8]133|100|Scoring: IMP (3♠)-?[/hv] Again, you are South, they preempt, you have to make your educated guess. Please comment your choice
Playing as South in a everyday match, you have to take a everyday decision. What is your choice? [hv=d=e&v=n&s=sa9hj763d2ck98653]133|100|Scoring: IMP (pass)-pass-(1♠)-dbl (4♠)-?[/hv]
Playing in a rather weak field you, sitting in South, encounter this position: [hv=d=n&v=n&s=sq5hj10652daj93c54]133|100|Scoring: MP Bidding: 1♠-(3♣)-?[/hv] You know East as an young agressive player. What's your choice and how much (%) do you consider that your choice is the percentage bid?
In fact i like that there are different boards in this stage of knock-out matches. More boards to watch, more fun for kibitzer who can move from time to time from one table to another.
I'm just checking a position encountered in National Pairs Championship, that involved afterwards director's decision (i'm not going to detaliate now). What's your bid as South? [hv=d=s&v=n&s=sq542hak32d83ck32]133|100|Scoring: MP 1♣-(pass)-1♥-(2♥)(1) ? (1)Michaels[/hv]
1. I bid 3♥ and got hit. Partner held AKx Qx J7xxx Kxx. Minus two after a diamond ruff meant a very bad score. 2. Partner held Qxx Axx Axx KQx. Pass was the winning bid, but i think transfering clubs and passing 3♣ is just normal. 3♣ just made was average 3. Partner held AKQ 10xx AJ10x Kxx. Opps passed and made 4 as cards lie. -180 meant a bad score for us, as -170 in 2♥/2♠ was popular
You're South in these 3 boards, playing MP's: 1.[hv=d=n&v=n&s=sq2hkj10864dq98c32]133|100|Scoring: MP 1♦-(1NT)-2♥-(2♠)(1) pas-(pas)-? (1)-NF[/hv] 2. [hv=d=n&v=n&s=sq2hkj10864dq98c32]133|100|Scoring: MP 1♦-(1NT)-2♥-(2♠)(1) pas-(pas)-? (1)-NF[/hv] 3.[hv=d=n&v=n&s=sq2hkj10864dq98c32]133|100|Scoring: MP 1♦-(1NT)-2♥-(2♠)(1) pas-(pas)-? (1)-NF[/hv] What are your options?
