Is partner's second diamond count? That would really help too. On the shift, if you know no more diamonds are cashing, isn't it right to shift to a small heart? If you shift to K, partner might overtake and try to give you a ruff edit oh oops never mind, maybe this isn't true

I thought about that, but Jxx is a lot more likely than JTx. Plus, you can still exit the heart and choose to duck if declarer does table the SJ. You both have a full count, and there's no more inferences to be drawn, so you don't need to put declarer to an early guess with no information or something

I've never played SP signals in trumps. Is the idea that declarer is going to draw more than one round of trumps, and if you play lo-hi vs hi-lo it shows preference in whatever the side suits are?

I guess my line is ruff the heart lead spade up ruff another heart spade up (claim on 2-2) diamond to the ace CK, intending to ruff even if not covered heart ruff run trumps, squeezing somebody somewhere but it feels like a lot of guessing still. argh.
