  8. So a good promotion for security ... If anybody notices... :)
  9. dug out that old thread since I didn't find a newer one (and found that one throug google and not the forum search engine which sent me to an error page)... 2 team matches just have been closed, for the first one I only saw one player leaving (at least during play) so why close? The second one may have been canceled by the host (because of a bad first board). Maybe add withdrawal-percentages and similar statistics... I know its difficult but it really is frustrating... P
  10. Yes but please fix this, I fall into this trap every so often... and I do not get used to it (or understand the logic behind). P
  11. Just "Enjoyed" a tournament where the director cared for reds, apparently, but nothing else. People could bid 3NT for -4 and then slowplay for AVE without reaction of any kind. There should be a TD-rating-system somehow.... Any ideas how to handle this (besides avoiding that TD)? P
  12. So far i am quite happy but a few things are improveworthy. - trumps are not moved to the left wich confused me justnow where I wanted to ruff;;-) - when finishing a tournament I can't kibitz Peter
  13. Hi, I bothered and started filling a full CC with full disclosure. Not quite trough yet, but: I can edit it, it get's seemingly loaded in the desktop version (I get the message) - but even there doesn't show up anywhere (Manage ACBL, Old style, nowhere). Neither does it in the Flash-Version where I actually want to use it any hints? Peter
  14. Certainly not. Problem solved, too. Reason: Well, don't really know. Was using gnash-plugin aparently (came with my installation) which stopped working. Replaced by Adobes Plugin and now it works again. Peter
  15. Did that and did not help. But if others don't have the problem, I must look here ... :) Thanks anyhow Peter
  16. I have been using it successfully for months, but it suddenly stopped working, nothing goes, neither in firefox nor in chrome. Any ideas? The flash-stuff is running in the background, I can see that in the process list. But nothing on the screen but whiteness.... (inside the window of course ;)) Peter
  17. Right - and I don't need to kiss all girls every time just because of this ;) Peter
  18. Can we "measure" the likelyhood of the latter and compare to the more easily calculable split probabilities? Would really be interesting.... Peter
  19. Right, it isn't one anymore by far, and I surely am not following this empiricism blindly... Peter
  20. After experiencing losing a slam in a 5/4 ♦ suit where the slam in 4/4 ♣ would have been cold, I tend to select the 4/4 fit if in doubt, which has not proven wrong - so far ;) Peter
  21. So if 5♥ may be too dangerous, why not use RK for Aces? Then you always can safely stop in 5♥. And if partner had - KQJT9.... ... ... he may bid 6H himself... P
  22. And if you doubled he would have 3/3/4 in ♠♥♦ and you would likely miss the 5/3 fit. Criticize your p for not having the 2.6 spades he statistically should show up with :D P
