  1. There was an upgrade to the Acol robots last Tuesday which introduced a bug with claims where the robot accepted any claim, even if invalid. The games were deactivated until the robot is fixed. The bug has been fixe since, but given that it's weekend, we decided it might be wiser to wait until Monday before putting the Acol games back on to the schedule, just in case other problems come up or the bug is not entirely fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can still play Just Play Bridge (Acol) meanwhile, if you wish, although that one is not duplicate.
  2. There was a problem at Quantcast, the service provider for that privacy banner. It's been fixed meanwhile, sorry for the inconvenience.
  3. Pretty sure he means: log me in automatically if you already know my credentials. I think that would be great for most players, Auto-login + some way to manage multiple profile a la netflix would be cool and we've discussed it for future improvements.
  4. Daylongs and Instant tournaments don't count towards your completion rate. Only duplicate games played in real time, where your leaving would inconvenience other players matter for computing TCR. And even there, not all games in real time force you to play until the end. if you play a "live" robot duplicate (ie, one of the timed games with everyone playing simultaneously), if you Withdraw from a robot duplicate (little menu with three lines at the top corner of the table -> Withdraw), then your TCR is not affected.
  5. Robots are available only as subs, not to fill in an original resrevation. So you can't "invite" a robot, but you can replace a human with a robot, or replace the sitout left by a human who withdraw, with a robot. No need to rent or pay, robot subs are free.
  6. They don't have to be accepted. Operator clicks undo, undo, undo like at a teaching table which takes effect immediately. Kibitzers see Undo accepted because that's the default message (teacher or operator unilaterally undo-ing is an exception)
  7. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply it's not a problem. I meant it's an error from myhands (while this thread is about a GUI bug). Indeed, the interface could play nice and print something more informative for that case.
  8. Those types of delays and errors are usually related to the processing of final results and sending them to myhands, not with the app display (ie, if you accessed those scores straight from the leaderboard URL it would still give an error). There's a window of about 20 mins after each game completes when results are computed, hands are sent to myhands, adjustments are processed (if applicable) and during this interval there may be "unavailable, try again later" type of errors.
  9. This is more suitable for support@bridgebase.com. What tournament were you trying to register to? Looks like you played two games after the two purchases you made, and indeed you already had enough in your balance prior to those two deposits.
  10. BBO was upgraded this morning, and includes a series of bug fixes and improvements to scroll bars, board selection, and generally navigating results in History.
  11. Finally, rienzi's necro worked :)
  12. I'm surprised anyone noticed but indeed, we upgraded BBO this morning and one of the improvements is that DDS runs in browser. If Barry sees this he can probably tell you exactly which free JS we're using for that.
  13. This nuisance will be fixed in the next BBO update (sometime this week).
  14. What you told him was correct, but doesn't work after the tournament has started, only if he defines the movement before the game starts.
  15. Barry and I are still the moderators. We tend to notice \reports or messages faster than comments within a thread. Already removed that post and suspended the poster yesterday or the day before.
  16. OK that doesn't sound old. We'll check. Meanwhile, what exactly you mean when you say "lost" the settings? Can you describe in more detail what exactly goes wrong?
  17. First of all, welcome thedurtler, nice to see you here :) There are many many games on BBO, not just ACBL pair games. Our request to be considerate about the security of ACBL games does not mean you can't live stream at all, from anywhere else. There are zillions of express and robot games and other free games. You can also live stream from a casual table if you like, etc.
  18. What device and browser are you using? Some very old browsers don't render the "sliders" for settings well. Try a different browser (Chrome usually works well with all devices).
  19. Streamers have been asked to always use a delay when streaming from games which take place in real time, such as ACBL pair games. They're usually good at following this requirement and if someone is found streaming live, even after being warned, we suspend them temporarily from the games where they can jeopardize the result. I would guess the streamer had a delay -- if not, you are welcome to PM their name and we'll send them a warning and/or take harsher measures.
  20. Hi. Clicking on the yellow message dismisses it. You can also deactivate friend / vugraph notifications in Account -> Settings.
  21. Check your messages, I left you a message.
  22. When your friend's account advances to full member (and not Newbie) he will be eligible for more games. At the moment some of the daylongs are restricted to no-newbies (the daily free MP / IMPs, the zenith, free Sunday daylong and the free weekend contents). He can play the Daylong Reward 8 random Hands, if he wants to try that, or any of the 8 board, 12 board pay daylongs.
  23. It is possible is all the matches are created by the same host. If it's 20 matches created by 20 people, we need some way to know they use same deals and myhands is supposed to hold showing the scores for them. Contact me at diana@bridgebase.com for details.
  24. The Zenith and also the 8 Random Deals Daylong Reward used to pay back 80% of the entry fees in BB$ prizes. As of January 9, the payback structure changed to 70% of the entry fees back in BB$ prizes. The payback formula and other details about each game are available by clicking the About button on the Daylong registration pop-up.
  25. The Argine team is aware of this thread, and we routinely send other feedback and bug reports their way. However, I don't think they'll come post here on what is being done.
