  1. I had hoped that the "o" field in a LIN file indicated the order in which the boards were presented (as at a teaching table), but swapping two "o" values and doing nothing else seems to have no effect. Can anyone help? My purpose to be able to do locally what The Common Game does in their support of robots filling half-tables (as a back-up in case of an issue with the Wi-Fi at the playing site), in which you put your LIN file and ACBLscore game file where they can see them, and they send you a LIN file that presents the boards in the desired order for the robots' table. (I would work it out from such a file sent by TCG, but am not with a club that is currently using that service, so I don't have that resource.)
  2. Voice works at a teaching table (the "voice" button goes blue when I start the table) if I started my browser, which is Chromium-based Edge, and went to https://www.bridgebase.com/v3/ via Favorites - but it does not work if I typed the same address in the address bar or made a desktop shortcut with that address and clicked on that. I've seen threads in the past on issues with getting voice going - I'm OK, but I want to be able help any student who encounters this kind of problem going forward. Can anyone provide any insight?
  3. OK, I've got the hand uploaded, and I can see everything and the student can see only South, and we can bid and play the hand. But can I force the auction to follow the one in the movie, so that the student sees the completed auction at about the same moment he sees his hand? What I'm trying to do is to present supervised lessons in declarer play. David
  4. How can I upload prepared hands for use at a teaching table? Thanks. David
  5. Everything is fine. By not choosing a dealer, the deal rotates properly; and it turns out that there is no need to do anything to save the session as a Bridge Movie: that function is automatic (if silent).
  6. Pard and I want to try the Partnership Bidding feature for the first time, and a couple of dry runs bring up some things I can't work out yet: 1. Pard and I are N/S, and robots are E/W. Deals are constrained. How do we allow the robots to be the "dealer" when it is appropriate? The dealer choices are N/S, E, or W, but these are radio buttons rather than checkboxes. 2. How do we save deals from a PB session into Bridge Movie? I did what seemed logical from the docs I could find but I got an empty LIN. Do I have to click "Add" or "Send" each time? Pointers to a FAQ or whatever, rather than detailed answers, definitely welcome. TIA. David
