Hi Josh You're probably right. I'm having a lot of trouble constructing a hand where the 4-4 Diamond fit will play better than the 5-4 Heart fit. It matters somethimes, but this doesn't appear to be one of those cases. Potentially, the bid advantage of the 2♦ bid is that you can (now) use keycard to place the Diamond King without having to rely on your cue bidding prowess... Help what I can bid? I understand double fit♦♥. Then ??? 2♥ or 2♠ or....???? :)

In the former case a NT rebid will be a minimum balanced hand (12-14) and in the second case it will be strong (15+).
