  4. Hi, I'm trying to download my hands for the last year using a Python script without success. The issue I'm having is getting past the login. Here is my code snippet- import requests payload = {'username': 'James_H', 'password': 'MyCrypticPassword'} url = 'https://www.bridgebase.com/myhands/index.php' with requests.Session() as s: r = s.post(url, data=payload) cookie = {'PHPSESSID': requests.utils.dict_from_cookiejar(s.cookies)['PHPSESSID']} print(r.text) The resulting response is the login page instead of taking me to the hand search feature. Any help appreciated. Regards, James.
  5. I'm looking for the exact BBO calculates IMPS Here is an sample Table Contract Score IMPs 1 6♦N= 920 11 2 6♣xE-3 500 1.67 3 4♠S+2 480 0.83 4 5♠N+1 480 0.83 5 5♦N+1 420 -0.83 6 5♦N+1 420 -0.83 7 4NS-5 -250 -12.67 I notice that it has the neat property that the IMPS sum to zero which does not always happen with cross imps. Wondering how the calculation comes up with partial IMPS Thanks, James.
  6. Hi All, The auction goes: 1C - 1S - 2H - P P - P Opening leader asks about the 2H call. It turned out its non forcing. I was talking to a friend who says it's not alterable in European / World competitions. Can anyone confirm? Thanks, James.
  7. Hi All, While L-V have a natural basis, they have many non natural responses. I'm looking for links to descriptions of any aspects of their system. Thanks, James.
  8. Partner opens a strong NT and the auction proceeds... 1NT (P) 2♦ (X) P (P) ? Your hand: ♠Axx ♥A10xxx ♦Jxxx ♣A Partners pass of 2♦ shows a doubleton At the table I bid a pragmatic 3nt IMO Anyone have other views? Regards, James.
  9. Hi All, A few years ago the format of the open euro teams changed from round robin to prelim RR and final RR. Can anyone point me to a link where the reason is explained or if not, explain why it happened. Thanks, James.
