I am an intermediate player,maybe it is a my problem. But rarely i use cue bidding for slam. I prefer to try directly the blackwood. Because don't know if the partner give the correct meaning to my bid. Someone use only first control. I use 1st and 2nd control. Others give particular meanings to nt. What i think will be useful, it is a common method to use in bbo. What do you think ?

You make subject too easy. i thinks that many time there are misunderstanding. some begin only with 1st control cue bid. other with 1st or 2nd, many use nt with a particular meaning. Champion give also 3rd control with some gadget. I think that a general standard to use in bbo should be useful to try the cue bid with an occasional partner
