  1. It would be nice if BBO could provide an audio channel to the players (and kibitzers) at the same table. This way they can talk to one another and this provides an experience even closer to f2f bridge.
  2. Thank you barmar for you reply to both posts. I hadn't realized my suggestions are "minor" in your eyes. To me they are major and to fix them would take very little resources. They are minor in the sense that they can easily be fixed. I do appreciate that you took the time to answer me and won't pursue the matter any further. I trust that BBO is doing the best they can to provide their customers with the most enjoyable experience.
  3. I am amazed that after all these years the two problems I wrote about have not been fixed. Did no one bring them to your attention?
  4. I played backgammon online against a player named Vampyr! Could that be you?
  5. When a defender concedes all the remaining tricks his partner has no say in the matter and that's wrong. Only declarer sees the claim (concession) and has the option to accept or reject. I think the partner of the defender making the concession should also be given the option to accept or reject. As an example, East got impatient and conceded all (5) remaining tricks and Declarer accepted. When in fact West a master trump and could not overrule his/her partner. Declarer may have been greedy or has forgotten about the outstanding (master) trump; that's besides the point. The main point is to allow the other defender to have a say in the matter. Such an "error" does not occur in f2f bridge.
  6. When a call is made and followed by two passes, the player in fourth seat, the pass-out seat, may misclick and click inadvertently on Pass when he meant Dbl or something else. Unfortunately, there is no reprieve, no second chance. The auction ends and the final contract is determined and we are waiting for the lead. Suggested remedy: When it is a third pass after the last bid, the player should be prompted in a pop-up window: "Are you sure?" Simple yes or no answer. (Previous Passes had their chance for an Undo.)
