I had an un-expected problem this evening and would be interested to know how I should have dealt with it. I had created a paying tournament but forgot or removed my include custom list. The start time was set for 19:50. We had 15 pairs entered including a pair that were not part of the missing include list. When I noticed about 19:20, I chatted "Sorry, this is not an open tournament" with them and asked them to remove themselves from the list of registered players. They had inadvertently registered for the wrong tournament and did not know how to un-register - they were new to BBO. They had then registered for the correct tournament which had a start time of 19:30 Their tournament started and I asked them again to remove themselves from our list of registered pairs but they had no clue how to do that as they were already playing a board. Our tournament had +allavail+ in the description When it started, it gave an error message - not that they were not available as they were online - but that their BBO$ account was not funded. The un-register offline teams did not work - presumably because they were available In the end I cancelled the tournament and setup another and asked our members to register in the new tournament. Eventually we got under way at 20:10 Afterwards, it dawned on me perhaps I could have removed the +allavail+ - would that have worked? Or is there some other way of removing registered and unwanted pairs? Our

I set up a paying tournament yesterday to start at 19:50 15 pairs registered to play but when the tournament started one pair were ejected and the tournament went ahead with 7 tables The ejected pair did have money in their BBO$ and the entry fee was not deducted - good They thought they were both online at the starting time I had +allavail+ in the description and did not see any messages about missing players I had checked if everyone was online in the minutes up to the start time and everyone seemed to be online The Host TD was online at the start time Is there any way to check the history log to discover why they were not accepted? I am a new TD Host so I am anxious to see if I had setup the tournament incorrectly Do I need to specify sitouts are allowed? Thanks

Thank you. That's very clear - I think the admin involved in keeping track of which list matches which tournament and making sure you uploaded it at every modification would be counterproductive and only lead to errors.

I want to run different tournaments for a new virtual club. I would like to use different include lists for different tournaments - is this possible? I can setup a tournament with an include list. If I then upload a different include list and set up a second tournament, will the first tournament keep the list it was setup with or will it now be over-written by the new list?
