About Me

The Formulas I have discovered explain all that:

Copyright by Bidding Expert 2000 - 2011. All rights reserved

- Your contract tricks (I call them Base Number, B#) = sum of all your Honors & Distributional points minus 2, counted by Force Point Counting: Singleton Ace = 2, Ace = 1.5, Void = 1, King = 1, Singleton King = 0.5, Queen = 0.5, Any Singleton (except an Ace) = 0.5, add some points for long suits & bi-colors (do some homework for them :)

- You may use also B# = (CP + 2*EQ - 8)/4, where CP are your Control Points (Ace = 6 CP, King = 4 CP) and EQ are your Equivalent Queens (I will not tell you what they are, thus leaving for you to do some homework). If the opps bid your Singleton or Void, raise your B# with 1.0 immediately.

- Your Play Level (PL) for the FIT suit = sum of both partners B#s, then use the Adjustments (if any):

- If you do not have a FIT, your PL is usually always 1 below.

- If you discover a super fit of 9 Trumps in both hands add 0.5, for 10+ Trumps add 1.0

- For a 2nd 5 by 2 Misfit with 3 TOP Honors add 1, for 2nd 5 by 2 Misfit with the 2 Controls add 0.5, for a 2nd FIT with the 3 TOP Honors add 1.0

- For "good" Singleton add 0.5, for "good" Void add 1.0 (needs some homework:)

- To discover the exact partner's distribution for the billions of the possible shapes use SCOR-SCOR Convention (http://bridge-bidding.mobi). To discover all of your partner's Aces + Kings + Queens with one only Question - Answer use CPA (Control Points Asking).

Your partner will answer by steps = (CP - 4*B#)/2. The Quest will discover your CP by the opposite Formula: partner's CP = 2*steps + 4*B# and watching his CP very easy will discover your exact number of Aces and Kings. I will not tell you how the Quest immediately will discover also the number of partner's Queens, leaving for you more homework too.

- Use all or part of this with any system and you never will have any problems with the Bidding, no gadgets needed (except the classical Stayman, Jacoby Transfers and Un2NT), no RKCB, not to speak for Blackwood !
