i don't know if this would actively handle the withdrawls or not, or if it's even possible. If someone withdraws...just leave their score blank until the end, then take the average score of each other player in the group and use that as the result against the withdrawl? For example. My current average is 5.666... so my score against the withdraw would be 5.666.. and their score would be 4.333 they just get no credit for finishing the event. That way scores aren't inflated with a random 10-0 result because someone didn't play. Or does this make no sense whatsoever? :)

I'm in and I think it is just simply better score on the hand wins a point, most points after a set wins

if you go under competetive tournaments, all tournaments, they're generally the top 2-3 on the list. The host would be BBO and the title is "Free Daylong Tournament (format will be in here, mp's, imps' or total points) then todays date registration numbers are in the thousands
-
the idea of a weeklong tourney of say 64 hands to narrow the group down to a KO stage seems like it would be an interesting idea to try. If you were to run the whole event as a week-long 'daily' event, how many would the smallest tourney be? 8? 10? Seems that would be over in 2 tourneys, 3 at the most.

i had tried the dropbox links....it showed group 1, or nothing at all. Guess my 5 year old desktop didn't like the technology :) thanks
-
If it is at all possible (if it is inconvenient to do so, I understand) would it be possible to post the standings as they are going on now? There's probably a way to follow along with all the results and do it, but I'm not sure I could do it right. Thank you
