  1. Thx, was a little joke. Btw, can I get some codes for dealer program? I'l be :) You can find my registered email address in my profile. Thx, nice people are on BBO and Forum! Zoltan
  2. Nice code scoob! But... n_hcp = (hcp(north) >= 13 && hcp(north) <= 18) Why not n_hcp = (hcp(north) > 12 && hcp(north) < 19) ? :) Zoltan
  3. 3♥ is a creative and good bid, no doubt about it. But does not describe your hand in THIS SYSTEM with a pickup partner. This is my problem. You should solve the slam problem with BBO Advanced and simple method. You never mentioned partner's 4NT, but there is a big chance, that he will bid 4NT with good cards. THEN you will be in trouble. What do you do if your partner goes to slam via RKCB? (Most players will do this!) ...3♥ - 4NT 5♠ - (2 KC+♠Q) With AKxx, xxxx, x. Axxx after your 5♠ response he will assume something: Qxxx, A, AKxxx, Kxx. He will end with 6♠, I think. Your 6 diamond tricks are hidden, and he will never go for grand slam. I don't think so. With this cards he counts 5 spade + 6 diamond tricks and a sure ruff for 12. Have to check the keys. 4NT is OK this time, Qxxx, xx, AKQJxx, A is the worst scenario. For this, 4♥ Last Train will solve this problem. But partner with AKxx, xxxx, x, Axxx has no problem after 4♦. Regards, Zoltan
  4. 3♥ is better then 4♦??? Hmmmmmmmm.... If you play on BBO this hand with an UNKNOWN expert partner, after 3♥ and so on... you need to find presumably another expert partner to next hand. TD will be at your table on tourney also, I'm sure. Ben, I need to know basically: is the goal to find a creatve bid, or just to find the best AND understandable bid in this poll? Sry Ben, I don't want to bother you (you are great), but 4♦ is at least 2x BETTER then 3♥ for public experts and advanced players. 1. At least you don't hide a good 6 card suit, 2. it's a natural bid, and 3. If 3♥ is splinter= you don't have this type of hand. So 4♦=80 and 3♥=40 is more realistic score IMHO. Regards, Zoltan
  5. If a friend logs in, bubble covers the bidding area and u don't see the bids. Solution: Take the bubbles to left down corner. There is good empty place for bubbles. Zoltan
  6. Method 1 does not work (1 deal/1 file) because the dealer is always North, not South. (Is this a complex problem?) Thank you, Wayne. Zoltan
  7. How can I make and send to teaching table prepared deals where South is the dealer constantly in every board? Unfortunately, every time the first deal will be North as dealer, the second is East, etc. It's important when only 1 student is at the table (as South) and the teacher (sitting all other seats) want that the opening bidder be the student. ( sd|s| does not work ) Thanks, Zoltan
  8. If I kibitz South (or W, E, N) I see only South's cards and later the dummy or partner's hand (when South is dummy), so everything is OK. But when the program redeals it shows all hands (so all hands are visible) until the first new bid (pass or else). After that will be OK again, I see only South's hand, the 3 hands desappear. It's a bug I think. Zoltan
  9. DND button is a very good suggestion, Lexica! AGREE 100%. Thx, Zoltan
  10. I would like to know the gold star player's name. I don't understand, why have some of them a totally blank or 'without name' profile. If somebody get a gold star, my suggestions are: 1. She (he) has to write her (his) REAL NAME. If she (he) does not agree whit this, it's OK, but she (he) does not deserve the star near her (his) name. 2. Skill level? Her (his) skill level will be automatically = star (not novice, for example). Thx, Zoltan
  11. Hi Wayne (Cascade), ty for your hard effort and very great job! BUT. (Sorry for this, I want to help you.) I have the DF. The DF converter does not work, can't handle the converted files. The void characters are always missing, sd be '-', I think. The Contract, Declarer, OnLead are missing too, maybe these are the reason of the errors. I give you 2 examples from recent vugraph.
