Autoplay singleton- one issue with
tsankaR replied to dbl118's topic in Suggestions for the Software
I am not sure what you are saying. You said "At that point I can no longer go back and view the trick before, and GIB plays so fast I never saw the cards they played ". You can always hover your mouse on the cards already played, and see what cards were played on the previous trick -

there is chat to tournament (before tourney starts) feature in client version. This was really helpful -
what he said was chatting to a group of tables, which is possible in client version
-
i know that. but what i said was that if the opps had set auto play singleton ON, i could easily make it out. And I also gave an example saying it in a recent tourney, some cards played by opps were normal speed, but some cards were fast. on analysing that i saw that the "fast" cards were singletons. I thought I need not elaborate so much.

the delay for auto play singletons must be increased. recently i played in acbl tourney. the opps were humans and i would easily make out the singleton, it was fast. so please increase the duration of auto play singleton

In the older downloaded version, we can choose those team matches you want to join as sub. However this option is not available in web version

5H denotes spades support or exclusion key card asking with spades as suit
-
Then what will you bid for ace asking
-
♠A ♥void ♦AKQ9xx ♣KQxxxx ♠KJxxx ♥Ax ♦Tx ♣ATxx dealer south, N/S vul E/W non-vul. scoring MP. west is void in ♦ bidding is 1S-4h[west]. how to continue? should north dbl? is 4NT by north now ace asking or tell p to bid minors. Or should north bid 5c and then 5d, asking p to pick a suit 7c by south makes. 7c by north may make. we played in 6d. 1s-4h-4nt-5d-6d. 4nt=p meant minors, i took it as ace asking Sankar

if he has all "those" then dbl is THE correct bid
-
p must be void in clubs. must have more than 12 pts. must have atleast 3 cards in all other suits. If not give me the hand that warrants 1s bid
-
your p must dbl and you must pass the dbl

it would be better is the subs can be sorted based on country
-
you can move out and start a table
-
when a tourney is being run, I as a TD will want to know what is the status of the tourney. I know tournament status button is available. But it would be better that when I click show tables, then additional columns appear, like board playing and board completed
-
I am a TD of a tourney. If I want to know slow playing playing tables, I have to go inside the table and see what board they are playing. It would be better if the description column is removed and "board playing" column is introduced. By at, at a glance, I can see what board each table is playing
-
Suppose I am a TD of a tourney and i sub someone. When I click a list of subs appear. Is there any order in which the subs appear or is it a random list? My suggestion is that the subs must be displayed in the descending order of master points obtained i.e. those having most master points must be displayed first. This ensure these players get preference in subbing
-
If I register as a sub and then I get sub request (particularly for team matches), I must be able to know the number of boards remaining to be played. At present I accept a sub request and after joining I get to know 15 more boards are to be played. But I do not have time for it. So I withdraw mid way. Instead of that when a sub request flashes on the screen then the number of boards remaining to be played also must be displayed. I can decide to accept or reject
-
In that case why close both the tables? Why not give an option, to the other table, to continue as a normal table [and not as TM]?
-
When more than 1 person withdraws from a TM, then BBO shows "TM closing. Stand by" and then closes the TM. Why cannot the TM continue with the host finding subs?
