  1. http://tinyurl.com/nhp56xt spade queen lead then shift to CA, followed by a heart. It was as if robot was trying to throw overtrick at me.
  2. If I hold AJTxx opposite xxxx If I lead a low to AJTxx, and lefty does not fly queen, then i know it does not have KQx. (from experience) Therefore it is always right for me to play the ace with the current incarnation of GIB
  3. http://tinyurl.com/p8tlug8 Robot seems to think 5H shows 20 points. Again, redoubling instead of bidding 6 is probably wiser.
  4. http://tinyurl.com/ol8ktbo Needless to say... Perhaps redouble 4S?
  5. This bid seems to be a bug in hand evaluation. Surely being at the 3 level at a possibly 4-3 fit can't be better than allowing opps play 2S. passing cuebids and unusual 4N seem to be straight out logic bugs.
  6. http://tinyurl.com/ng5w6h6 The bid of 3D has to go down as one of the worst bids I have seen gib make. By far.
  7. http://tinyurl.com/oflsgxy Although I should get to 6S anyway, robot should be getting active after my 3D call, and not waiting until the bid is ineffective at best.
  8. http://tinyurl.com/pffv3mq 3H? Foolhardy at best
  9. http://tinyurl.com/njv3t6q GIB very cheerfully recognizes that 4N means "pick your best minor". But simply passes. Come on.
  10. http://tinyurl.com/noh26ct no double of 3D?? 3N ?? 4H ??
  11. http://tinyurl.com/q3nf6au No excuse for being this greedy.
  12. http://tinyurl.com/nuhz979 What *is* this 4C bid ? I am sure that if robot's hang generator were working correctly it would realize that the only hope here is a diamond fit. If the opponents really do have "spades and a minor", it can't possibly be right to play at 4C. ever.
  13. http://tinyurl.com/q5dzmm7 X alerted as 11 points. If the robot can have the hand that it has, then this bid is 100% meaningless. It gives opener no clue at all about the right action. Leave it in? Bid a new suit. Bid their own suit ? Luckily, it did not really matter this time
  14. http://tinyurl.com/qjbbjlm When I lead a heart from board, just to avoid going down two, gib fails to fly ace and take setting tricks.
  15. What are the leading conventions of robots? It would be nice if GIB could provide implications of playing one card over another in the same way that it does bidding conventions. This would be true throughout the hand. In general, I find that its carding throughout the hand tends to be somewhat "whatever is closest to its thumb" in critical situations.
  16. When the robots played against me, they took a very sane line of play. Do I have to pay extra to get them to play the hand like this ? http://tinyurl.com/pgtrohn
  17. What is the point of bidding 3C if it can never ever play clubs?
  18. http://tinyurl.com/pzx2tc8 Gib xfers to spades and then bids clubs. LAters says it has 6 spades, when we all knew it did not, and insists that 5C is a cuebid. Not that any slam is particularly good, but clubs has to be better.
  19. http://tinyurl.com/p4d84eq The bid of 3S over 3H is simply inane. It if offering me the option of playing at the 3 level in my 7 card fit (at the very best). Or the 4 level in my 9 card fit (at the very best). Neither of these positions is supported by LTT.
  20. The handviewer link seems non functional now in BBO. The bidding went: 1C (3D) P (P) X (P) 4D?! (P) 5C (P) 5H All pass Why not simply bid 4H to the takeout double? Why go through an inane journey of bidding 4D? The out of control robot bidding makes it impossible to play 5C. I *have* to play 5H in a moysian fit, or simply allow them to play 3D. grrrrrrrrr. http://www.bridgebase.com/tools/handviewer.html?sn=goffster&s=ST972HAJ6D3CKQJT9&wn=Robot&w=SQ4H974DAQJT862C4&nn=Robot&n=SA63HQT52D954CA73&en=Robot&e=SKJ85HK83DK7C8652&d=s&v=b&b=7&a=1C(Minor%20suit%20opening%20--%203+%20%21C%3B%2011-21%20HCP%3B)3D(Aggressive%20weak%20jump%20overcall%20--%207+%20%21D%3B%2011-%20HCP%3B%203+%20total%20points)PPD(Takeout%20double%20--%203+%20%21C%3B%202-%20%21D%3B%203+%20%21H%3B%203)P4D(10+%20total%20points)P5C(3+%20%21C%3B%202-%20%21D%3B%203+%20%21H%3B%203+%20%21S%3B%2021-%20HCP%3B%2016-
  21. http://tinyurl.com/k3qkfyp GIB says 3D is 11+. If there is no upper limit, then it is forcing. If GIB does not think it is forcing then is should be marked as something like 11-12
  22. GIBs tendency to make hyper passive leads backfires when I bid hyper aggressive games based on a long suit. In general, I open *any* 14 hcp hand 1N. Long suit or not, singleton or not, and I am generally glad I did, because gib's passive leads put it at a distinct disadvantage.
  23. ah yes, failed to notice gib thinks 1N shows 18-19. this is a bug since generally, the winner of part part score auction is the one who bids 1N first.
  24. http://tinyurl.com/pexyak8 What happened to a 3S invitational bid? 2S is hopeless.
