  1. Hi A few times recently I have been forced to close my browser when playing bridge because of a long running script in the adverts which appear on the left hand side of the play area. A dialogue box appears which gives the option to stop the script but this has the effect of blanking the screen and the only way to get out of that is to close the browser and login again. I am running the latest versions of windows 10 and internet explorer. Once again BBO is the only place this happens and as we all know adverts pop-up everywhere these days. I play in a tournament on a Sunday and it is always being delayed by lost connections. I think TDs should report every loss of connection and maybe somebody will do something about it.
  2. The problem of disconnection from BBO is widespread - it happens to someone on the table I am playing nearly every time I am on BBO. The Sunday morning tourney I play is frequently disrupted by disconnections and therefore takes longer than it should and is sometimes spoilt by long delays. It has also happened to me and we have fibre broadband, but we don't suffer this problem on any other site - only on BBO.
  3. Hi I have been experiencing a similar problem during ordinary play i.e. not with robots. The list of hands/results is there as normal but sometimes certain hands do not respond when selected i.e. the NSEW hands shown at the bottom of the screen do not change from the previously selected hand. For example out of 20+ hands we had played on Monday night 3 of them refused to display. They were non-consecutive apparently random hands. My OS is Windows 7 and browser IE9. The next morning all the hands display fine in the results section. cheers Bruce McArthur
