  1. Tja...the stock markets all over the world celebrate this giant Euro bailout, strange but nobody seems to be afraid that the European Central Bank lost practically its strongest "weapon" today, The Independence! Sad day for Europe. Welcome to the inflation zone. Robert
  2. I suppose, you are afraid that the announced delay of the phase-out in the german nuclear power sector can be blocked by the opposition. The other ideas....? Hmmm the kamikaze-tax-reform? Anybody (out of the FDP) takes it in the current budget situation for simply a bad joke. Capitation fee in health service? Nobody ( out of the FDP ) wants it. Robert
  3. WoW! Germany beats USA before world record ice hockey crowd :) 77.808 fans came to watch Zamboni driver at the work in the Schalke Arena :D

  6. Iceland could be a "victim" of the current crisis, the willingness to incorporate new members in the Eurozone is very, very limited at the moment.
  7. This looks more like a Jimmy Buffet song than the crap Winston posted above. (Where's the damn salt?) You don't look like Jimmy Buffett, either. I have never listened to this guy, but he looks like a dude who loves to sing english cover of the german Volksmusik, titles like..."Es gibt kein Bier auf Hawaii" <_<
  8. German position is already clear, they announced to loan about € 23 billions on Greece. Experts agree, it could be much cheaper if Merkel acted earlier and did not block this help hoping to do it after the elections. The Iron Lady may experience a rude surprise on Sunday.
  9. You are right. Goldman Sachs classifies this thread as the absolute outperformer, current Moody's rating = AAAAA with crown <_<
  10. Greece struggles with enormous problems , the financial situation in several countries of the Euro-Zone is not easy...Spain and Portugal and other may follow...what is your opinion, what may happen? Robert

  16. Thanks for sharing it. This part may best explain ( for outsiders) what the current situation in italian bridge is. Robert
  17. My interest in "Big Chess" is rather marginally...but I would like to know...Do todays champs have still big stuff of own analysts ( like WC's in 70's 80's etc.) or were they replaced by computer simulations in last decades?

  22. Try SKAT, german card game in which clubs deserve the top position! The order of the values is more logical as elsewhere : J,A,10,K,Q,9,8,7!!! Everybody bids alone for his own! [no silly partnership misunderstandings] The winner of the auction can bluff the opponents and choose the NULL contract in which he tries to loose every trick :P No passing out! 3x pass = RAMSCh contract = try to avoid taking tricks and points, player with good cards will be punished for his pass  etc etc etc! This all + lot of beer+ lot of cent coins = really tough pub competition B)
  23. You are wrong. Their handshake is an agreement for conducting THE GREAT IDEA to new victories! http://nicalbonic.blox.pl/resource/75.jpg
