How are the compatibility-stars determined? Who does the evaluation and on what basis of any player? I am just curious! While playing on BBO (I play mostly "indies" ) - I see some players having only 300 log-ons and very low point-score - having 5 stars. How was that determined? dariab

How does GIB know the difference when his S-partner opens short 1 NT vs regular (15-17pts) NT? I've seen some very good players opening 1NT short(14 pts) and GIB continued the auction. The same goes for some players opening 2NT with only 18 pts - and GIB takes them to game. I am very intrigued by that play. How does GIB know which is which and when?

I was told, that in order to "log Into chat" you click on something on your profile. I have a MacBookPro (excellent machine), but I can not find the place to click for that command on my profile. I asked the "yellows" on BBO - they don't know Macs. Can anybody help? I like to record some of the chat-lectures I attend on BBO. Thank you all in advance - dariab
