Hey Sports Fans!!!! Stop - Cease - Desist! There is absolutely no AbaLucy rule that says Psyches must be pre-alerted to TD's. Our TD's are a little too busy for any such action and I have no idea where this rumor started. AbaLucy recognizes that psyches are a part of expert bridge. We also concur with Uday's assessment about throwing such stuff to strangers althought AbaLucy players have come past the stranger stage. Our policy - Psyches are a part of advance bridge. They are not encouraged. If a player experiences a psyche they are to let the Director know in private and the Director will send the information to the Club database. If it is determined that the psyching shows a pattern that could be intepeted as partner having reason to expect that the bid is not legit, or if the psyching is over used to the point of being disruptive the player(s) will be warned and we will take action it. This hasn't happened so far in almost 300 AbaLucy tourneys enjoyed by 10640 players. Hope this clears up all misconceptions. Aba

The software is very easy to use. All you have to do is rtake a deep breath and do it. I have a "How to Direct AbaLucy Tourneys" document I will be happy to send you if you want it leave me your email. Also any time you would like to co-direct an Aba tourney, I will be glad to mentor you through the process. All you need to do is ask.

Please for those of us who post 8 to 10 tourneys a week. We need to be able to put the time in in day/ then time and let the brilliant software figure out how many minutes. Also for reuglar tourneys a auto repeat would be a bug help.

And how many here know that in Gilbert & Sullivan librettos - there are 216 lyrics we can use to describe our fascination with bridge. A responsible - rational - much to be respected response Ben. Thank you very very much. I was Doofik's partner. One of the players involved has promised UDAY he would stay away from my tables. I had him removed from my table after he made innuendos to an audience while specing at my table. As Ben mentioned his dislike for me as a person and disrespect for me is well known and his visits to the table are nothing more than harassment. So why was he there? Why did he not leave? What is the purpose? Why can't two ladies who love and respect BBO and the game of bridge play without such unwelcome stalking? Once again - thank you Ben for your response. I wish my original post that was erased was still available. The thing that amazes me about this string is the people who are telling Fred and Uday how to run THEIR business. The business they have spent 1000's of hours creating.... the business we all enjoy. Yes, I think it would be wonderful to have a cheat-proof way of enjoying internet bridge. Unfortunately - fix one - another will arrive. Perhaps if we said thank you Fred, Uday and Sheri - for this incredible opportunity you allow us to partake in.... for your incredible contribution to us all.... and to say we know you want the best for every player.... We hope you will find a way to make the players who betray YOUR TRUST and ours... go away. Dear Doofy, This stupid poster tried to respond and deleted my entire post - heehee. Technology!!!! You misunderstood Ben who was responding to my previous post. It was I who employed the suggestion that perhaps instead of shielding those proven to cheat those they have tried to impress - perhaps those incidents should be recorded and accessible - the perhaps that would keep them from attacking those who had discovered what was going on.
