  1. I am not a fan of kibbitzers at tournaments, but I have found that when hosting team matches, people aren't happy if kibbitzers excluded. I haven't run enough tournaments to see if that population complains. I do feel that messaging/cheating is a problem for many in on-line bridge. I am in favor of not allowing kibbitzers from the tournament set-up aspect. GaryT
  2. The conv. card software takes a long time to complete. In many ways it has tons of options to fill out, but just writing in descriptions has rather limited fields. Perhaps these could be expanded to handle more characters? Gary T.
  3. The IP address which I posted is the IP address of our teams of 4 ladder (Rays Bridge Ladder) http://rays.ustc.edu.cn/Ladder/BridgeTeam/ Rules for Rays Bridge Ladder currently state that Zone is the primary game server with alternate venues (BBO) ok if both parties agree. Currently the Challenged team can have the final word on where match is played. I have put a poll together for the ladder committee to see if we can make BBO the primary game server. I think this will be more attractive to BBO teams of 4. This is a fully automated Ladder with e-mail automatically being generated to all players associated with challenges, responding to challenges, and results posting. I think if you enter a team, you will be very happy with play there. At the moment the biggest issue is getting the Zone players to download BBO and get used to it. It is the best site for teams of 4 play in my estimation. Thanks, Gary T
  4. There is a bridge ladder for teams of 4 which can play at BBO for those of you who are interested. You can have up to 8 roster players for a teams of 4 entry. There is no charge. IP address is: http://rays.ustc.edu.cn/Ladder/BridgeTeam/ Please drop me a note at bridgah@yahoo.com if I can answer any questions. Thanks, Gary Thompson
