My best chance is to win in hand, and lead a to the J. If it wins, then I lead the Q.

This will work by force if S holds the stiff J, but the main chance is that N holds the Kxxx and does not cover for fear that you hold AJ9xx: should he cover, he has blown the entire suit.

If he does cover, and the J does not drop, continue a . You hope that the winner of the defensive trick does not hold the A and gets lazy.

This is why you lead a early and why, I suggest, you lead to the J. It is not unknown for North to duck, and if S holds the A, it is almost certain that he will duck.

There is a somewhat obscure play for 6 clubs if you can find the singleton ace - win two round of diamonds, three rounds of hearts, then lead a low club from dummy. If hearts are 3/3 and the singleton Ace is with North along with the King of spades......

So Queen of spades at trick 2 is probably the winner.
