Erkson
My impression is that only a low percentage of BBO members participate in this forum.Maybe a (big :)) button in BBO to this forum could increase that number.I know that there is in the "News" a link with an invitation to visit this forum but it may be unsufficient. Only an example but I am quite disappointed because I put a message asking for a .lin file of a match that I missed and no received any, although at least 200 or 300 people watched it and had the file automatically stored on their hard disk by the software. csdenmark
Please remember this Forum is aimed for all but only used for regular discussions between 15-20 persons. Many have very hard problems communicating in english and most of the discussions are obsolete to most people. As an example. For long time there has been a lot of contributions about Moscito. A really private discussion because it is so few interested that such scares many away. You see new persons to post very quick loose interest and stop to post. - As soon a post is out of top 10 - it is no longer read. A button to this Forum will not change much in that! Erkson
Please remember this Forum is aimed for all but only used for regular discussions between 15-20 persons. I would like to change that. Many have very hard problems communicating in english I have hard problems communicating in English but "la necesidad hace a la vieja correr" o "nécessité fait loi". and most of the discussions are obsolete to most people. As an example. For long time there has been a lot of contributions about Moscito. A really private discussion because it is so few interested that such scares many away. It is so easy not to read what one might not be interested by. You see new persons to post very quick loose interest and stop to post. - As soon a post is out of top 10 - it is no longer read. "ninguna novedad dura más de tres días". A button to this Forum will not change much in that! "L'espoir fait vivre". Erkson.
Rhutobello
A button will be nice. It will promote people to visit the community, if they find it interesting they will stay on :) Another way is to promote the community to your BBO friends. I use it for a place to leave messages and to discuss what conv we shall try to learn and so on. Hopfully those I have invited read some of the posts, and maybe will partisipate in the future ;D Yes English can be hard for us non native to the language, but if we don't try, then we don't learn ::) And for you English spoken people out there, your challenge is to understand us, with a open mind and a good portion of forgivness ;D ;D ;D

Deanrover
Bump. Is this more possible given the recent HTML innovations?
pclayton
I think you can add other sections for Polish, Turkish, Chinese, etc.. like we have for Italy and The Netherlands, as needed. The most important thing is that we would get more overall participation. Perhaps the "login" required by the Invision board could be the person's BBO log in and they log on to BBO simulataneously woth BBF. I'm looking for a seamless link between BBO and BBF. EarlPurple
And how many BBO players do you think actually go into the BBO sections other than Play, and Explore/Vugraph ?
kayser
Perhaps an automagic babelfish translation would do it :D
uday
We have a link to the forums on page 4 / 4 of the lobby news. After Xmas I'll try moving it up and seeing if it helps
