No! With a weak hand you are much better off starting with the S suit, even with 5-6. Look at Kieran Dyke's post on this topic on rgb. Starting with C on a weak hand risks getting pre empted, and possibly even losing the S fit, unless you are prepared to bid 4S when 4H comes around to you. Especially two suiters. The auction often gets uncertain. Is 2♦ waiting? Is 2♥ double negative or postive? Etc.2) I didnt fear roundpass with this distribution3) I was hoping the actual sequence showed a real reverse and was forcing 3♠ was passed out and made 11. The horrible auction made 7.4 Imps over the field :-)) Both black suits broke badly and many slams and grands, doubled and redoubled went down.
