ack_hh
- the "Big" option is always greyed out, no matter if I choose wide mode or normal mode or "Big Deal" - when switching between wide mode and normal mode (CTRL-W), the window's position is changed to be left aligned, the chat area becomes smaller, and the "restore"-button (upper right, middle button) is greyed out (but still works) - in the MBC table list the columns host, N, S, E, W are too small, names are truncated. IMHO the columns "kibitzers" and "score" should be reduced significantly so the players names can be displayed completely. A smaller font here might also help RegardsAndreas
inquiry
- the "Big" option is always greyed out, no matter if I choose wide mode or normal mode or "Big Deal" Go to a table. Big deal is not an option from the lobby I have seen the grayed out problem before, but not in 4.3.9 Also, i don't have the problem with truncated names you mention in the main bridge club. Make sure you are in "wide mode". Can't hurt to be at a table. Click the Options button and check "Big Deal" in the window that appears. Click "Apply". You should then be able to access the "Big" checkbox. 2. Sorry - that's just the way it is. I agree that this mechanism could be improved, but that part of the program is a mess and I don't want to touch it right now. 3. "Kibitzers" and "Score" columns need to be as wide as they are if "disallowed" and the various forms of scoring will fit in the space. My personal opinion is that it is better to have a relatively small % of names truncated than to use a smaller font. Rain
I experienced a very small bug, maybe. GIB's alert was N: , not sure why http://online.bridgebase.com/cgi-bin/histo...tchlin=19041255 By the way I clicked on the 1NT to get explanation before the next bid.So its not very likely to be caused because of lack of space. When there's lack of room to finish typing explanation, GIB normally still gives explanation, but it'll be truncated at the last...
