Well, with beta 3.4.11 in the field, we can now hold Individual tournaments.

 

1) To create an individual tourney, check the "Individual" label during creation

2) You cannot alter this field once a tourney has been created.

 

3)

as before, two basic movements - clocked and unclocked. Unclocked suffers the same problems as pairs tourneys - less variety in opponents.

 

When a CLOCKED round comes to an end, each section is scrambled randomly for the next round. When an UNCLOCKED round (either 2 or 3 tables participates) is ready, the available players are randomly scrambled between the two/three tables.

 

I think this means more variety in UNCLOCKED, but not sure.

 

4)

As mcBruce pointed out a while back, this movement will probably need fixin' down the road

 

5) Registration: Only 3.4.11 clients can register. You can sub in older clients, though

 

6) you can have up to THREE Sitouts

 

7) During registration, etc, the limit now refers to the number of players; so if you are willing to run a 10 table games, set limit to 40 "teams"

 

8) There is a bug - fixed but not installed, expect a patch soon - that prevents specs from "Following" players around an individual
